What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Must get myself a GEC synthetic, hows it handle wear in the pocket?

The wear is more evident on the bolsters and shield than it is on the scales. This has been my EDC to the office for about 6 months. It's the most comfortable 2 blade knife to carry thanks to the single backspring design and smooth scales. I can also open the main blade without using the nail nicks.

Lots of peanut love today

still no peanut here.
BUT i have been carrying this little guy the last 2 days, even brought him to work in the warehouse with me
i spent a little time sharpening it up real good and its been doing JUUST fine, just have think about how I am going to cut something a brief moment more than normal, but it does the job just fine.

Although i gotta say, Got a little money saved up.
thinking of getting a case small texas jack in amber bone and cv
or perhaps a queen amber stag jack in d20. I am just sooo leery of buying a knife online...dont want the hassle of sending it back if its got gaps or wobbly blades (the last few online purchases have not gone well for me :/)

Fine Peach seed jig on that Robeson. Strange that the blades are almost the same length though?

Today, Tidioute White Owl in Ebony, again. I have the Kryptonite version too, these are really tidy knives.

Thanks, Will

Thanks Kevin! I appreciate your compliment on the photograph as I always enjoy your photographs.

I have always wondered about the main blade length myself. I have seen other Robeson with a shorter main ( like mine) but still I wonder. The secondary blade is marked Robeson/Cutlery/ Rochester.

I agree with Kevin, that is a fantastic photograph! Wish I had your skill (not to mention your knives!).

Got this Keen Kutter Dogleg Jack with me today.. Nice old
ebony handles...

I love it, the oldies always get me.

I had my Opinel and a Vic on me; I have been helping redo the kitchen in one of the houses my grandparents rent out to people. It is some fun work!

I have stayed away from some of the newer red bone Case knives for the reason you pointed out when you first showed this, Steve. But with the result you got, I may have to reconsider. That really does look good!

Did the Case shield come off in the process? The one on my mini copperlock did.
