Put this old Camillus in my pocket today. The blades are very old and worn, but I love the bone on this one.

Doug... that bone is just amazing :) I must have taken decades of carrying getting this bone looking like this.

Not your fault at all my friend, I was being a little careless. It is super thin and razor sharp indeed. Great knife!!!

Thank you Andi. It has obviously been around for a long time, and used a lot. I really like the look of it, and its feel in the hand as I cut with it.

I have a slight memory of my grandfather carrying one with similar bone.

Unfortunately, it is just a bit big and heavy for pocket carry when I am dressed for work, so I swapped it out for my peanut after a short while.

I carried this Jack that i got from Duncan for the week..Im warming to it..........................FES

Awesome! It took me a bit to warm to it as well, I really started to enjoy it after I put it in a vice to get rid of the blade play. I love the extension spring on the pen blade and the fact the the grinds are nice and thin.

Heres a photo of a knife Ken Erickson made, note that the spring on the pen blade extends up until it almost reaches the tip, closing the gap

Some great pic's of great knives. Was tempted to pretend I'm carrying a traditional today...., I'd get told off if I posted a pic of what was in my pocket;)

Oh actually I did take this one out with with me and the dog in the woods after work....

Possibly my favourite knife at the mo and has been for a while. Definitely counts as traditional North of here:)

Nice shots guys!...I get out more and take more photo's, nice to see that blade colouring up there Andi!..., and yeah-those Winchesters are great arent they Fes....I still tend to think they may be under-rated as to how well these knives are!

Smaller than my usual EDC, but I was helping out at my kids' elementary school. No camera today, either.
It's brand new (except I touched up the edge), so looks just like the stock photos.

Case Swayback Jack in Chestnut with CV.

Handy little bugger.

Really nice knife Andi. I was very tempted by one on the exchange here, is that the same one? Love the way everything is tucked away nicely, can't help thinking if a maker produced something similar today it would do really well. The question is would they make it to that quality....?
