Awesome batch of old knives, Jeff.;):thumbsup:

I have an Enzo badger convex D2, which I handled in elm burl. I'll post some. Pics when I have it on me.
8 years ago I had to ring them up for postage to Belgium as the didn't sell them online back then.
This one is black micarta that's so brightly polished it looks posh in my scarred and working hands

Great, I'll look forward to seeing that :)

Good morning everyone. Hope you’re all well! :) Today I’m carrying my Case 6347 from 1972 and my Wright’s Bigun Lambsfoot that was recovered in Ironwood several years ago by Glenn @glennbad. Glenn always does excellent work and this one was no exception.

Nice pairing Ron :)

That’s a wonderful photo of your Patriot, Jack.

Awhile ago, our electric can opener died.
After poking around the kitchen gadgets aisle in a couple of stores, I decided not to waste my money. I have Swiss Army and scout knives!
Well, I guess I’d better leave a SAK in the kitchen for Mrs Grave Fleschwund.:D

Thanks a lot Jeff, I had a poke around in a box under my bed (good grief, there's some stuff in there!) :D

Buttery and beautiful Gev

Couldn't decide so grabbed em both today ...

Great choice! :D

And before you could have those, they had Hunter, Skinner, and Tanner!
Or farmer, slaughter-house worker, and tanner :)

Your Moki is an excellent knife.;)
Thank you, Sir :)
The only thing I don't like about today's carry is the nail nick. It's in the swedge, which means it's very shallow. Other than that it's easily one of my top knives.

Is that Buffalo bone from the most recent run? That’s a beautiful example! Nice creamy color.

I’ve got a Böker in my pocket today.
That is one of the buffalo bone 85’s from the most recent run. It goes from creamy to translucent depending on the light.

Nice Böker. I do like the jigged bone on that model.

Give her a few more cans to open and you could sell the pointy part of the lid as a modern interpretation of a traditional ninja throwing star. ;)

ETA Gotta give her points for determination. Lol my wife woulda just gave it to me to open. Luckily I have an old Swing-A-Way can opener and if you’ve ever used one you’ll understand how they were the best mechanical can opener ever. It was so good they were used on the International Space Station exclusively.

Unfortunately they went outta business, I guess they made them so well that they rarely needed replacing. So if you bought one, odds are you’d never buy another unless it was a gift for someone else. They last forever.

In case you don’t know what I’m talkin’ about hers a pic of one, (not mine, I’m not home).

Can opener is a traditional sharpened edged tool right? ;)
Ted! Long time no see! Guess what day yesterday was? :D
Those do work, but they can wear out.
The import clones, wear out faster.

I do have this antique Can-O-Matic that belonged to my Grandmother. I’m going to take it apart, make some adjustments, and lube it. The mechanism is supposed to cam the gear down to release the can rim when you move the handle backwards, and it’s gummed up.
How about that awesome Seafoam Green color?!!

Whoa! I think my grandmother had one of those. Does it mount on the wall and fold out of the way?
My twisty style can opener is missing in action, so I've been using the one on my Kutmaster GSK.
