What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Congrats for the 39
Some call it Stagurday, I’m going with Schradurday.
View attachment 1328487 A 293Y that I carried every day from the ‘70s well into the ‘90s, I think.
And a 206 that had the ugliest delrin in my collection, which I dyed and need to try again.o_O
And today marks 39 years with Vickie, a truly good woman, and a true blessing to me:).

Congrats go to you and Vickie for the 39 years my friend .

Staggering around today with this pair. They made a good case for being carried. An 087 medium stockman and a 47 large stockman, both from 1940-1964:

I started to use the 47 to slice my wrists waiting for this thread to catch up with any entries. Didn't though.

Yesterday and today, carried all 3 but really only used the camp/scout

Went into the woods near my house to try out the hammock overnight. Was "supposed" to drop down to 65 overnight, reality it dropped to 54. A light weight long sleeve shirt and a jacket, jeans and a surplus wool blanket, yeah I got pretty chilled about daylight lol

A quick little fire and some instant coffee dispelled the chill though ;)
As a side note, now I see the apeal of hammock camping its really comfortable actually. (not being adequately prepared for the extra drop in temps aside:rolleyes: )

Two burly stag covered German totes today. :)
Thank you kindly, JJ. Such beautiful Stag on the Puma. Always love the little teeth on the blade. Great etch on the Bull Dog. Always a first class image.

That used to be my favorite portion of a cigar; quite the photogenic pair of totes to accompany you, as well!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I passed on one on the bay this morning. 5.5" blade, which I have, no tourist scenes, which I have, a pretty good price, but pretty ordinary, which I have. And the guy has a crate of them NIB, though he calls them used. So I am among something like 30 watchers waiting for him to come down some more.

Since my plan for making one of these into a quasi-punal has moderated into making a sheath, I don't have to choose. One sheath could fit any of them.

(Case, Henkels Zwilling, Sabatier.)

Three great-looking knives there Jer, should be a cool project :)

I heard Mr Rodgers is considered handsome for a Yorkshireman.:D

Possibly! :D

Good to see you here Vince
