What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Staggering around today with this pair. They made a good case for being carried. An 087 medium stockman and a 47 large stockman, both from 1940-1964:

I started to use the 47 to slice my wrists waiting for this thread to catch up with any entries. Didn't though.

Lovely pair !

That's not a Thriller in Manilla or a Rumble in the Jungle;) But a Treasure Beyond Measure :D

Those scales look rich with age like a matured food:D Cool for Cats.

Thanks, Will
Funny you should say that....Chef's Table on Netflix is a favorite :p Looking forward to the review on your Fox :thumbsup::thumbsup:

A quick little fire and some instant coffee dispelled the chill though ;)
As a side note, now I see the apeal of hammock camping its really comfortable actually. (not being adequately prepared for the extra drop in temps aside:rolleyes: )
Looks like you practiced social distancing :D
You might enjoy a little story of one of my overnights in a hammock.
I used a couple of straps around two trees, then tied the hammock to those. During the night, I tossed and turned like usual and it was pitch black; I couldn't see anything really. In the wee hours I noticed something touching my hip. It was the ground. I had managed to shimmy the straps all the way down to the ground. Rather than reconfigure the whole thing, I just broke camp and left for a proper bed ;)

One tip to keep you warm while in a hammock. Use a ground pad or something similar underneath you for insulation. Reflectix works well. I use this strategy on a cot when I go tent camping and it makes a big difference.

Enjoy your Sunday, knife knuts :)

Lol, I'll have to remember that as I tend to move around while sleeping as well. Honestly one of my biggest concerns was that being a bigger guy it would tear and dump me. So I followed the advice of a youtuber who said "never set your hammock higher than your willing to fall". :D:thumbsup:
I wish I could sleep in a hammock, but I get seasick. :(

Have a pleasant Sunday, everyone!

My weekend carry no doubt my first Fallkniven TK3 sporting Cocobolo and oh my what a beautiful knife. Fit and finish is remarkable. First lock back I’ve ever owned that’s rock solid with no play in any direction and the sharpest traditional out of the box I’ve ever owned period!
This knife is knocking at the door of custom territory and Thank you @Jordan@DLT for this beautiful knife I will enjoy for years to come :)

I have been sorely tempted by the TK3. Does anyone know who makes them? Given the quality I wonder if they are made by Moki.

Going a little French right now

We try to eat healthy stuff but yet try new to us stuff and I have always like Orange and Pineapple so thought we should try this Orange Pineapple. Since I am Allergic to Yellow #5 , I checked the Ingredients .
No Yellow #5 , No Orange Juice , nor any Pineapple either . Does not taste bad .

Stupendous stag, Stuart!:thumbsup: I find Case's stag from that period particularly good looking. I especially like the color of the stag on the 087.

Peanut-ish Knife this week is a Case Swayback Jack (thanks, Paul):
