What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey guys. I’m sorry I haven’t been around, tossing out likes and not saying much. The 7 on 7 off schedule I’m on right now (part of the covid 19 response at work to minimize contact across shifts) has me not coming around much on my 7 off. I’m spending much more time with my family, playing outside, cooking for them and enjoying time with them. Even my two oldest at home are getting along better and my youngest is even tolerating me doing for him more lol. But I figured I’d drop in and say hi and post what I’m using today. No surprise it’s my Dunlap stockman! Along with a gec pairing knife courtesy of @r redden

I realized that, between the general social disruption and the gremlins in this thread's sequencing, I missed a day of so of posts and had to go back a bit.

Very fine Case trio, Stuart.

Three mighty fine Case jacks Stuart; hopefully the cigar took the edge off your MRI procedure (noisy contraptions!);):thumbsup:

Nice trio of Jacks !

Stunning Stuart :)

Thanks, guys. JJ, I took some earplugs from my range bag for the MRI, but the real deal was that the "table" get warm as the magnet heats up whirling. It was bliss on my back.

Nice big ol' boy, Harvey. I politely will not mention the later mayhem he caused.

Scintillating stag, JJ.

Great old dogleg, Bruce.

A handsome worker, Paul. Really handsome.

Ditto per the comments of others, Gev. A cool classic

Eureka Jack and a Camie 72 in Delrin

That was delicious looking Delrin, Steve. Like taffy.

I like all of that, Jack.

Pretty pair, pal.

Thanks to all y'all for indulging my need to catch up. We'll return to your normal channel now.

Thank you very much, Jack!!!

All this new fangled digital noise didn't stop you from having a couple of timeless totes; your old Remington jack is very cool too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Ron!!!

Wonderful pair of stag covered beauties today Ron; hope you get out from under the weather!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks a whole bunch, Harvey!!!

Looks like that beauty has both quite the bark and bite!;):thumbsup:

That used to be my favorite portion of a cigar; quite the photogenic pair of totes to accompany you, as well!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
My most favorite part of a Cigar was the whole thing! :D
But I could be wrong unless my memory serves me correctly it’s been about 7 years or so :)

Yikes! What are the dimensions of that one Harvey, here's a biggie of mine, I'll have to dig it out, but it's about 6" if I remember correctly

Beautiful image Gev!!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Your pretty picture makes the Maserin look elegant, JJ. Well done.
Thank you very much, Stuart!!!
Thank you, JJ. Whether work or play, you’re covered with today’s fine pairing. The wood on the Maserin takes the knife to another level. The lionSTEEL is quiet elegance. I like how you shot at an angle to the grain of the background,
Thank you very kindly, Harvey!!!

Today, I've been totin' and researching this MOP clad Case shadow equal end pen from 1905-1920. It is 3 1/4" long. The only mark on it is: CASE Bradford PA .

Smashing photo Ron

Thanks Pal. Your Joseph Rodgers is gorgeous. I do cotton to the Big’uns. Haven’t personally measured, but the seller’s specs seem about right(roughly:)). Closed 4 3/8” - Fully opened 7 3/4”.

Thank you Harvey, I shall just quickly run and measure it! :D

5 1/2" (10 1/2" opened)
