Really like the checkered handle, David, and great blade mod!:thumbsup::cool: Did the knife start life as a trapper? What tools did you use to change the blade shape?

Today, I've been totin' and researching this MOP clad Case shadow equal end pen from 1905-1920. It is 3 1/4" long. The only mark on it is: CASE Bradford PA .

Thanks Gary, it's a pattern I collect, so it was nice to get one from Stan :) The Farmer is one of my most carried SAKs

Thanks a lot Ron :) I was sent 3 different models of Swedish Army Knife by Frost's in the early 90's. This one has mainly lived in my camping pack, but it's seen a great deal of use over the years, for everything from clearing thistles to veg prep

I looked at this type knife on several occasions Jack! Most of them generally appear to be well made
and economically priced. A great general purpose fixed blade! :)

Thanks, Jack. The little pocket carver that @Signalprick made is so light it feels like I’m only carrying two knives.

Congrats on the comely Case canoe, Vince!:thumbsup::cool: It's a pattern that I find hard to resist.
Thanks, Gary. I wanted to pick one out myself, but lots of businesses have been closed, so I ordered online from Knifecenter (a BF supporter). I'm happy with what I received. Great design.

Case’s Bermuda Green seems to vary quite a bit these days, but you got an especially nice one there! It’s in very good company, too.:thumbsup:

Thank you Jack! :)

They're an absolute bargain Ron, and if you don't like the plastic sheath, inexpensive leather alternatives are available. Here's my Mora Companion in carbon steel, with a leather sheath
