This thread has left me in the dust again! Other than posting pics of my carries for the week, I haven't contributed much to the thread, and I haven't even kept up with all the fine cutlery you all have been posting. I doubt if I'll ever catch up, but I thought I should at least have the courtesy to reply to those who did me the honor of commenting on my knives.

One I've wanted for quite a while:

This will be in my pocket most of the time for at least the next few weeks. Picked it up at the mailbox a couple of hours ago. I like it a lot so far!
Congrats on the comely Case canoe, Vince!:thumbsup::cool: It's a pattern that I find hard to resist.

After seeing Gary ( 5K Qs 5K Qs ) had a MAM in his fabulous foursome, I thought I would add one to this beefy Case and call it a day. :)
Glad I could provide a little Iberian inspiration, JJ. ;) That Case is quite a handful of hunter!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
My greedy threesome today ;)
...
Thaumaturgical threesome, Jack!:cool::thumbsup: I've vowed to avoid fixed blade knives, but being a big fan of inexpensive work knives from around the world, I'd consider making an exception for an example or two of Scandinavian "peasant knives". What model is that Marttiini? I like that rather rustic handle.

Thanks a lot Gary, I think I've only posted a pic of the Condor Otzi once or twice before :) Thanks for the info on the Cotton Sampler, very interesting

Thank you again my friend, that's very kind :) The #85 was a generous gift from @btb01 when we met up in Sheffield the Christmas before last :)
Thanks for the ID on the Condor and the background of your acrylic #85. :)

Another Quality Quartet, Gary. The Alox Cadet and RR electrician are particularly fetching. :)
...
Thanks for the approval, Dean. :)
Your Vic Electrician and rosewood slimline trapper are an attractive pair!:cool::thumbsup: I should find a nice example of jigged wood to include among my knives.

Bottle caps beware :).

Admirable pair in your fight against bottle caps, Tom! ;):cool:

Thank you Gary. ... and yes it certainly is.

That's a sophisticated sowbelly, Dwight! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

...
Just love this knife and your image.
Thanks for expressing your affection for my Mohawk canoe, Harvey. :)
Your remarkable stag I*XL lambsfoot pictured with the pastry reminds me of the old advertising slogan "nothing says lovin' like something from the oven.":thumbsup::cool:

Very nice, Gary. That Mohawk stag canoe is quite attractive.:)
...
Thanks, Gary, and I’ll echo Dean’s compliment on that Mohawk canoe!
...
...
Thank you very much Gary, I can relate!!! Only the Syracuse/Camillus has the EO. ;)

Fabulous foursome with your Mohawk Canoe really leading the team; a classic beauty!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
I appreciate your taking the time to comment on my Mohawk, Dean & Jeff & JJ. :)
Thanks for the EO info, JJ.

Maserin Hunter & CaseBros. whittler today.View attachment 1327028
The checkered handle on your Maserin is sweet!:thumbsup::cool:

Thank you very much Gary. The whale-shaped knife is French from the brand "Farol".:):thumbsup:
Thanks for assisting my fading memory, José. ;):thumbsup:

Hi GT, Love my Pioneer X and got a modded Compact (now I have to repair it because I got ham fisted with it :() that has full sized scissors. Just 2 layers and with all titanium scales, liners, and screws. Thinner and slightly shorter profile from the Pioneer X so it's great for "dress casual" and the for those heavy duty out doors occasions the X gets the nod. But overall, my X is very hard to beat and it's corrosion free.
Thanks for your opinions on your SAKs, Bill. :)

...
Cool knife, GT
...
Thanks, Harry. :) The Rough Rider work knife seems more svelte than the Case Sodbuster Jr in both handle profile and blade shape.

...
I was only going to quote the first knife, then the second one was good too, and then the third... all top notch.:thumbsup:
...
Gorgeous group, Gary! Your Swayback Jack is a real looker, the Case stag Peanut is no slouch and the Rosewood Lambsfoot looks great in the sun.
...
What a great quality trio Gary!
...
I'm grateful for your triple quotes, John & Dean & Jack. :)
Your ebony gunstock is dapper and dignified, John!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Dean, your pair is superb!:cool::thumbsup: I'm not a huge Barlow fan, but those Bökers with the tree on the bolster appeal to me; is yours jigged bone?

...
That's a powerful pint-sized pair you're packing, GT.
...
- Stuart
Thanks for noticing, Stuart. :) (BTW, I noticed in another thread that you have a Mohawk canoe very similar to one I carried last week; your taste is impeccable! ;):thumbsup:)

Thanks Gary, there was a time when fixed-blades dominated the collector's market. I have given a great many away over the years, but still find myself buying them :) The Marttiini was a gift, it's one of the more basic models, but I like it. I think Greg uses one for whittling. I think it's called the Lynx Lumberjack
