What a handy pair

I started on our deck at 8:30 this morning. It was in the 40’s but we made it okay. We stripped all the old railings off first. Then came the decking. We had a quick sandwich for lunch. We finished around 1:30. Then we had to cut all the wood to fit in my Silverado. I didn’t want to be on the road with12’ boards hanging out of a 6’ truck bed. The landfill closed at 3:00 but we managed to make it with a few minutes to spare. I’m almost too tired to post but I am! I’ve had my #43 Oregon Trapper in my pocket all day.

I’ve heard there was a lot of shared production between Camillus and Schrade. Especially in the later years.

Think it’s possible yours was made by Camillus?

I’m not sure, but I can find no evidence at all of a pin in either bolster making me think the knife has Swindon Key construction- that would mean its Schrade factory built. I have a Remington and a BSA, both of those are Camillus built and have slight differences but very visible bolster pins. OH
