What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Finally was able to nab one of these (actually I have a Black Valox on the way also). I bid on the two of them hoping to get either one and as luck would have it I ended up with both. The wait was worth it. I'd love to add the yellow version some time. This knife is a lot of bang for the Buck IMHO.

Nice - it's always been a mystery to me why Buck didn't make single blade 309's 303's too

Beautiful. My daughter wants the rosewood 301, and going to order this weekend (she's been saving for it). May get one myself sometime--I only have the black one. In fact, I just put it in my pocket a little while ago.

Yeah, I really like the 302. At the price they retailed for I guess there wasn't as much meat on the bone as with the other patterns - that's the only explanation I can come up with. I can tell you they are hard to come buy right now. I found two dealers about a month ago that showed both Rosewood and Black in stock so I ordered the black from one of them. I later got an email saying their system was wrong and they didn't have any. I thought no problem and ordered from the other vendor. Got the same email a day or so later so I was out of luck. Anyway I'm glad I was able to luck out on the Bay this week.

I have one of these. It served me well at OBX last year, opening beers and cutting up fish bites on the beach. Loved having stainless for that trip!

Well, I finally had the urge to put my Dunlap stockman away for a day. Got the forum knife out. Diced up some taters to help the wife make country fried steak. Posed it with this my daughter made me after dinner. We’ll see how long I stray from the Dunlap. Or maybe I’ll carry 2 traditionals and a modern instead of 1.

Thank you very much Ron. The Rose Garden has now officially reduced from about 30 roses down to 7 . It is part of the plan to reduce the amount of work necessary to do every Spring and Fall . The area is now Tilled and Planted . I also moved one that we did not want to lose . A few years ago we started having Japanese Beetles and they were just getting most of the Buds and Blooms anyhow .
It used to be No Big Deal to go out and get Roses like this for Nancy . But that had changed . We did save some very nice fragrant ones though .
