Nice looking #25, Mike - the micarta scales have some appeal... though I personally prefer natural materials.

Although not traditional yet, this is a primo piece of stabilized old growth redwood burl, and my order with Jerry Halfrich is coming up. Think Hidalgo front lock, Mike Norris Hornets Nest stainless damascus blade, no shield(?) and a Jack Russell, M4(perhaps) with double bomb shield.

Love the Marble's!

My new arrival. I so loved the Woodsman pattern in Antique Bone that I got here on the exchange that I just had to get one in Ebony!

Thanks! It is definitely my favorite slipjoint.
I like that woodsman in ebony! Looks sleeker than its bone brother.

This came in the mail this evening and I'm quite happy with it....

I usually put a regular edge on my Opinels but I did a convex on this new #6. I used the fine hone on my Smith's diamond hone and in 15 minutes had it shaving, this knife wouldn't do nothing out of the box! In 20 minutes of light stropping I had it easily popping hairs. This is my first experience I know of with 12C27 Mod., and it to me sharpens easier then my carbons did! The older I get the more I like simple steels!! Man; I though my #7 was light!

I got this in on Friday and it has been in my pocket since. It's a very solid knife.

Edit- I'll throw a better picture up tomorrow!

i would imagine so ;)
