Two incredibly beautiful knives Gev

Wonderful image of your Heartshead Barlow; a well rounded tot'n pair with your "random" Case peanut addition!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Toting this stout GEC made Schrade large trapper today. :)

Thanks JJ, I can see why you belt-carry that hugely capable-looking knife

For TC Tuesday, I'm carrying my Scratted TC Barlow.

Always a treat to see that one Dean

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund nice fishing gear (knives & reel) - is that an old Swedish built Abu? I've been thinking I should add some fisherman pattern knives but have never warmed up to the "Texas Tickler" style. I do have a couple but never use them - I may be missing out!

OH
Yessir, that’s a vintage Ambassadeur 5000. It’s fine for bait fishing or plastic worm casting where you have some weight. My usual smallmouth rod and reel is an Ambassadeur 6500C, which can cast my go/to ~ a #2 Mepps squirrel tail. I also use ultralight spinning rigs, but I am more accurate with casting reels using my thumb on the spool.
But last year I caught two 22”+ smallies on an ul spinning rig with 4 lb line, in consecutive casts. Fun, but I was sure they’d get into cover and break off.

Yes, Bruce. You need an old school fish knife!

Have a friend "Jeff" whose wife is compromised with cancer, crones, etc., so she has been super careful staying home. When things recovered where she could go in for a colonoscopy, they called at 8 PM (after the awful prep) and told her it was cancelled as she had covid. She had a fever / aches a couple weeks before but it was gone and she is fine. They also have a down syndrome son, 25 year old body with a 5 year old mind. Jeff and his son went to give blood, told them they might have been exposed. Came back his son had antibodies but Jeff didn’t! Jeff is proud of the fact his son has never had a cavity as a child or adult because Jeff is so meticulous flossing and brushing his son’s teeth 3 times a day. Jeff also was hugging and kissing his wife. These were not fly by night tests. They are super happy his wife and son have had it and recovered, but perplexed how Jeff could possibly not have had it. Me too ... unless the Oklahoma Blood Institute testing is flawed, and if it is we are all in trouble.

If anyone has any nifebrite they want to let go of, have got your $$$. Single blade preferred, users ok!

Kids with Downs are more at risk. My daughter’s a champ with her mask, but we’ve decided to hold off when they re-open her adult day program just to be safe. Hope your friend’s wife beats the C!
What is it about knifebrite that makes them so fun? I only have one, a Bullnose. That 15 is great!
Maybe they’ll make more soon?

Nice looking knife, they look pretty weighty though, are they a heavy EDC?
I don't find it to be too heavy. I love the pattern and carry it quite frequently. Certainly it is heavier than other knives of the same length, but not prohibitively so for me.
