Cools pics Dan  ;) :D

:D:D:D:thumbsup: LOVE it Jack lol.

So yeah, the chickadees appeared to be put off by my offering :D
One of them told me " C'mon , what is this  .... don't you see that the spine and edge of that THING run parallel to each other  " I tried to explain it was a sheepsfoot to no avail :D

So I will go back with a proper lambsfoot to make amends.
In the meantime here is a recycled pic :)

I'm quite pleased with this one, and I heard that Delrin is okay, over here.

Oh yeah. Delrin, or as half the sellers on that big auction site say, Derlin, is A-OK with me. In fact, take away Delrin and TL-29s, and my “collection” would get a lot smaller.

But I don’t think Camillus used Delrin on TL-29s!
In case you haven't made any progress on your request, Jeff, maybe this is a link to the post you mention:

YES! That’s of whom I spake.
Thank you very much, my resourceful mathamagician friend!

I’d ask how you found it, but it probably involves a complicated process using slide rules and dividing by zero.

I will send a PM to the gentleman, @Ripcord 82, and make the offer of one of my TL-29s, but it looks like he hasn’t visited in about 5 months.
Thanks again, GT!

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund , I got curious.

The history of the Camillus Electrician's knife is complicated. The ones that say "TL-29" were made under contract to the military. I thought that was Camillus' item number for the knife, so now I'm a little smarter.

Some of the military issue ones were made with Delrin, most were made with wood slabs, and it depends on the year. Further confusing things is that Klein was involved somehow, too. I'm unclear on exactly how.

Mine is not a TL-29, just a civilian Electrician's Knife. Beyond the "TL-29" stamp, I'm not sure if there is any difference...?

The slab material on mine looks like what I've heard called "Ebony Delrin" (mostly by A G Russell). If I'm going to be wrong, I figure I'll at least act confident about it.

Carrying a couple Cases today. :)

I'm totin' my Case Texas Jack today.

I earlier posted a barely traditional Enrique Pena knife. Now I am going to the other extreme. Nothing can be more traditional than a vintage pretty bone Case Copperhead. I love totin’ this one. The ergonomics are so nice!

Case were well-represented here yesterday! :) Good-looking knives gents. Love the sculpture Mike! :D
