No, I didn’t actually use the saw to cut it down, but I did use it to trim a couple branches off the bottom when I got home.

Sorry about losing the pics. It's good to see you posting anyway, Andi.CASE Peanut was with me today.
But my photobucket account doesn´t exist any longer - Sorry no pics. It is a pitty as it took a long time to make all these pictures years ago.
Nice pair of working knives Greg . I would hope that you will post pictures of your process on the Quivers my friend .
Harry
Looking forward to the finished quivers !!!!
Thanks, Harry & Gev.My leather working skills are not very polished so I'll have to see how the finished quivers look before showing pics.
Used the 35 again today in the shop. (recycled pic)

Just wiped down with mineral oil.
This was my carry today too, great knife! Only difference is that mine has the bone rit dyed black, never did care for the blue.Nothing fancy but a good solid user.View attachment 1467882
Nice job on the Re-Tip Paul .I saw the old Case XX 6207 with snapped tip and had to have it. I could have easily used it as it was but I like a fine tipped blade. After a few minutes with the belt sander its very tippy once again, albeit a wee bit shorter. a very fine knife and a pattern I fancyRe-tipped, sharpened, oiled and lightly cleaned up.
