In remarkably good condition! Obviously never toted (and abused) by any of the Scouts I’ve known.
Both are beautiful, Harry!
I think I’d have liked your Dad.Thanks Gary, I get a lot of enjoyment reworking an old knife and putting it back into serviceI enjoyed hearing of your once a year Christmas tree jacket, on a somber note my father had what he called his Funeral Suit and the inside pocket had all the pamphlets from many funerals
I like the Christmas jacket of yours a lot more

For the last 30 or so years, I’ve carried a back-up set of car and house keys in my left pocket. It comes from two things, knowing from experience how easy it is to lock oneself out of one’s car, and having to drive into the hood for work.I've decided to keep an Alox Cadet on the key ring for a month or two at a time, and change the other knife out weekly. So, for this coming week my pocket flotsam includes my new Boker Barlow with Bog Oak.

I keep a Wenger Esquire on that key ring.
I never show it in this thread, but it is the one knife I always have on me. Well, as long as I have pants on!

Love this!!! I really like the vintage Wenger and Victorinox knives. They can be hard to find and many command good moneyIf you don't mind you should post that one in the Multi Tool/Knife forum

Any idea of it’s age?
Thanks for the kind words Jeff . You are correct except , his is larger and cost about 2X mine .I think we’ve seen this belt knife before, but I still like it!

When you need to use one of the blades, how do you decide which one? Whatever comes out in your hand?
Both are beautiful, Harry!
The top one is remarkably similar to the one in @Auglaize117’s post. Looks to me like a perfect shape.
I think I’d have liked your Dad.
My sport coats only get worn for weddings and funerals these days, so there is always detritus from both in the pockets.
And when you reach in your pocket and pull out a memorial to a friend who died a year ago, it’s darned near impossible to toss it out!
