Thanks. Since I joined here, I've been trying to use some of my knives that didn't get much use before (like my laguiole) or ones that I just didn't give a chance (SAKs). I've been pretty happy with the electrician so far, and I feel a bit foolish for thinking that Vics were somehow lesser knives in the past.I admire your recent commitment to the Electrician (and your handsome Case Peanut)!I think I've posted something very similar to your post here, remarking on the Electrician as a Swiss stockman or cattle knife.

The #66 is aging nicely, Jack.
I can't wait to see what GEC does with that frame next.

Jack, Jon, John:
thanks for extolling Valley Jack's virtues.
Interesting observation; thanks!
"You can't always get what you want", despite our culture being fed the "Have it your way" myth for over half a century.
Good point about the cookie decoration.
Thanks for the informative comparison pic, John; it's worth 1000 words!
Probably more versatile and fashionable than my fanny pack.
Thanks for the TL-29 handle engraving info, Jeff; kind of amazing that it's still so clearly visible!
I can see how "butt bag" might have some unpleasant associations for you.I don't suppose "pelvic pouch" is much better?
I'll pontificate on almost any subject, Dean, no matter how much I actually know about it.
Thanks for the positive comments, JJ.

Interesting story, Paul!I had a pair of shoes I bought in 1969 that became my Wedding/Funeral shoes for about 40 years, and I have a black suit whose inside chest pocket on the jacket has the pamphlets from the funerals of all 4 of my grandparents, my mom, and my mother-in-law.
I hope the back improvement continues, Jack.
Nice pair, as always. Have you been carrying a lot of scout patterns in the past week or so?
You certainly take some fine photos of your splendid stag HHB, Bill!
Cool Wenger; I've never seen one like that!
Is it quite old?

Have a great day, everyone!
