What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Superb example :cool: Always liked this pattern because it's sleek, the blades lie low in the frame and they're a useful selection. I suppose certain types might disapprove of it as not being 'traditional' enough by having unconventional blades :rolleyes: Did they question the Wharncliffe Trapper that the late Tony Bose came up with?;) That hadn't been 'done before or seen in the catalogues...'

Would be nice if GEC were to make a mini version though, say 3 3/8" or 3.5 "
I love mine, easily my favorite knife for daily use.

It really is a winning combo, and the best part to me is the really thin blades. GEC blades are usually far too thick at the edge for me but these being of thinner stock they cut wonderfully.

I made a trade with Harry Old Engineer Old Engineer , one of my pocket slips for one of his old Barlow knives. I chose the old Camillus of course. But Harry being the generous person we all know he is, also sent me my second choice... the old Keen Kutter. On top of that he gifted me the Large Case Texas Jack, which I absolutely LOVE!!! Thank you Harry and i will enjoy each one of these a whole bunch. :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Nice, nice and nice John and sounds like Harry, he goes above and beyond with his generosity:cool::cool::cool::thumbsup: I look forward to seeing the slip that Harry now has:) good on you both:thumbsup:

That is how I open up avocados. Cut in half lengthwise around the slingshot ammo in the middle, scoop the green goodness out with a spoon.
Kiwis, I just eat like an apple. The skin won’t hurt you. But I eat apples, cores and all, so...o_O:D

Beautiful!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I think Mrs Engineer treats you well, my friend.
Thank you very much Jeff . I think she does too my friend .

294 pattern made by Schrade? Gorgeous.

I think, which my wife says is how the trouble starts, I see an “a” after the “Sh”, so I was gonna guess Shapleigh.?
I could only guess Sir :) Thank you !

Trapper Tuesday. Hope everyone's week is off to a smooth start.

My wife and I are trying to navigate around eachother this week, as we're both working from home. She's teaching remotely until next week when they go back to class (fingers crossed :p).

These working knives today. The astute amongst you may notice thats not my normal truck. Probably not though, I've not posted many pics with the other one lol.
Anyways my ol 97 Ford's engine is giving up the ghost, so for Christmas my Dad gave me his old Chevy. My best friend upon learning that apparently overnight I went from a dedicated Ford guy to a Chevy guy said "Welcome to the dark side" :eek:

I've heard people say they'd rather push their brand truck over driving another brand. Even if someone gave it to them, well I've always said "If someone gave me one I'd happily drive it til the wheels fall off." Well guess I talked that into being o_O:rolleyes:
