What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice find Kevin!

I had the 6232 jack with me all day.

Going out to dinner and a concert with my sweetheart tonight, and the jack gets replaced by the old faithful peanut.

just woke up from a nap...so maybe i am a bit slow...
but..wha?

Same brick (I think?), same flashlight, similar "pose"--- where's your Texas Jack?!

See? Momentarily disorienting, seeing the new knife in "your" setting, posted by you!

;)

(Sorry to have been obtuse earlier.)

I love the dull grey colour the blade is taking, the patina in this steel is a little different compared with case cv
See you Mateo

Here's what's in my pocket today-This started out being the worst purchase I've ever done. Very dull, and the fit and finish were horrible. When it first arrived and I saw how it was, I didn't even want to pay for the shipping back, so I almost thru it in my tool box for a tool box beater-literally almost thru it. But decided to experiment, first I hit it with the wicked edge, then I spent about 1 1/2 hours sanding the knife with 600 grit and finished with 1200 grit to get the scales and metal flush. Then I remember someone talking about forced patina-I used alittle heinz yellow mustard, and must admit I actually like this thing now. It still has slight gaps in the spring area (lack of terminology), and a slight blade wiggle when closed, but it is as close toS&M Heritage 002.jpgS&M Heritage 005.jpgS&M Heritage 011.jpg a perfect size for me. The patina I really like, almost damascus-blues and purple colors mixed with light greyish.

This duo today. CASE 1976 #6111 1/2 swing guard in rear pocket next to my wallet and a 1970 #62087 serpentine jack in front right pocket.
