That's a sweet one Elliott. You been holding out on us?

Actually, you might just be getting to that age when you start forgetting stuff. :p

It was the very first project that Ken and I collaborated on some years back. It's based upon the classic folding hunter frame...reduced to a more pocketable size with a secondary blade of my choosing. Ken followed his muse from there. (He also built me a single blade "shadow" version with D2 and black linen micarta that occasionally gets shown back here as well.)

Same as usual
:D

That knife has character! I like the looks of the craftsmanship on that brand, at least on the examples I have seen on this forum. I need to look into one of their offerings. Like the long match strike pulls too.

Halfrich "Jack Russell", 6 1/8" OAL, CPM 154. Ken Erickson Swayback Gent, 3 1/8" closed in Antique Ivory Micarta and ATS-34.

Two old companions from high school -- a Parker Jotter and my Christy knife. (Mine is set up left-handed; normally you'd have the blade flipped over the other way.)

Blade geometry wise, I hit it with the calipers last night and the blade is just a few thousandths over .025" wide at the spine! :D

Mods: I may be edging a toe over the line on 'traditional' here (on one hand the design is 75+ years old, on the other it can technically be opened one-handed) -- if so, rap me on the knuckles and I'll hollow this post out with the edit function.

I remember now. Should've known it was an oldie from the tang stamp. That main blade is classic Ken, before he started to focus on recreating vintage pocketknives. Looks like it'd be an awesome user.

Full-sized copperlock in stag, with a wharncliffe blade? That sounds a looker.

Happen to have a picture of this one?

No but I can take a pict when I get back home. Not sure I can post pictures as I'm only a registered user. But yeah it's sweet never seen another one. I found this one at a gun and knife show in Colorado about five years ago while visiting my brother. Funny right after I got it we went to a casino and my brother was carrying a schrade that was smaller the security guy made him take it back to the car. I showed him mine and he said that's cool you can bring that in lol

I just found bladeforum last week. This is awesome I love this place. Never had anyone ask to see a picture of a knife before! Never took a picture but I do have some nice knives, most of my friends and family think I'm crazy. I think I just found a new home!
