What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Don't eat it!

That slouching snake will get more use being carried without the slip.

:D :thumbsup:

Thanks, John. I’ve used it in the kitchen a couple times. The bit of patina on the bolster was from some Henderson’s Relish I got on my finger. :D

Definitely worth preserving then! :D ;) :thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. :) I've had the Beer Barrel Canoe for almost 3 years, but I own so many canoes that each one shows up in my weekly "show no favoritism" rotation quite infrequently. :(
I always anticipate any double-antler days you have!! ;):cool::cool:

...

Thanks for the SBJr comments, guys. :) I acquired that Sodbuster Jr as, I think, the second winner in @mrknife 's "never-ending GAW" and the dark coloring of the amber jigged bone was certainly a draw!

It's certainly a handsome knife my friend :) LOL! :D :thumbsup:

Notable Friday pair, Jack! :cool::cool::thumbsup: As the old TV show put it, "I Love Lucy" but it's always great to see what I think of as the "prototype" Guardians desert ironwood knife you originally showed us!

Thanks, Jack; it's good to be had! :D:thumbsup:

That's a nice pair, Rachel; I especially like that ebony Esquire sleeveboard and its blade combo! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Handsome 'Rat, Dean! :cool::thumbsup::cool: Is that chestnut bone or something even redder? I initially decided when I got my first muskrat (a Rough Rider) that I didn't care for the blade redundancy or the large size, and ended up giving it away. At some point, I completely changed my mind and am now quite fond of a couple of Case muskrats I have and a RR improved muskrat.

Totally agree, John. :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: When I found the Old Cross Pioneer, it already had most of its worn appearance, but I still think it looks fantastic, even if I really don't know the stories behind the faded color.

Is that an ebony canoe? Looks wonderful! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: I have several Buck canoes, but have never seen one in black wood!

I think a Churchill must be a knife sort of like some basketball players about whom announcers say, "He makes everyone on his team look better." I think any knife you pair with your ebony Churchill looks better by association! :thumbsup:;):thumbsup:

Royal Purple!! :cool::cool:;)

Really like the slanted bolster on your 2-blade Ka-Barlow, David! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

W:eek:W, that's a stunner, Gev! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Your dark duo doesn't even give the boxes a sporting chance, JJ! :eek::D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The clip and sheepsfoot on opposite ends makes that a highly desirable knife!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Terrific trio, Jim! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: If this were a beauty contest, the Barlow gets my vote!

Love the "jigging" on your pipe and on the WCLF, and congrats on the fetching Queen Barlow, Dylan! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's some rousing red, Greg! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

LOL! :D Thanks Gary, much as I love Lucy too, I am glad I got the 'Prototype' back out of the box :) That's a smashing trio you're showing there :) :thumbsup:

Have a great Sunday!

Nice photo Jon :thumbsup:

That's a good looking Case Congress, Gary. :thumbsup:

I ALMOST posted one just like that in the "If you could carry only one" thread, Dean! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

The Scrade 897 UH is a knife that could be "only one" if I had to do it. I know that because it was for 20 years. :D

My muskrat is chestnut bone; I think of it as a knife with a spare blade rather than redundant.:D

That's a goodl looking Case Peanut, Gary. :thumbsup:

Thank you very much my friend, good to see those two old favourites again :) :thumbsup:
Thank you very much, Jack!!!
Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday :) Nothing very exciting about the weather here, but it's better than yesterday (wind and heavy rain) :thumbsup:

Very cool shot of your Waynorth Lamb with that handy little compass; perfect to maintain your bearings for slicing through the wind and rain! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Stationed at Whiteman AFB MO, 50 miles from KC, for 9 years. My best friend Shep (RIP) was a huge fan and gave me this shirt. 30 years worth of patina on the shirt, few years worth on the 1095. In the USAF my official term of address was either "Chief" or "Chief Master Sergeant". Hard not for me to be a Chief's fan.

I really like the covers! :thumbsup::thumbsup: Is that a recover or a custom?
