Trying to catch up on a few threads here this morning. Been up since 3 and my anticipation is rising, my wife and I will most likely have a super bowl baby . I know there’s a few Bucs fans in here, but go Chiefs!

My son was born a few months after the Bucs won their first Super Bowl. We were talking about that the other day and he said, “Man, that was a really good year for you.” And I said “Yes it was!”

Game day paraphernalia: black Boker in hand when Bucs are on offense and red Case in hand for defense! My son broke the shot glass commemorating their first Super Bowl win, he insisted on fixing it with hot glue. I like it so much better now! Good luck Chief fans, but GO BUCS!

There's a bit of fresh snow on the ground today... might be a good day to ski. It's only a little bit cold...about -18C (around 0F) with the wind chill. My hands don't really do well below freezing. I have Reynaud's syndrome, so my fingers turn white and loose some feeling.

Thanks Jack. The second hole is just a hollow pin to help keep it together. Two layers, mahogany backed with phenolic (micarta).

Thanks for the info Mike, it looks good The brother of a friend of mine is in demolition, and recently got hold of tons of old mahogany. My mate built a 'fence' out bricks of it, which is about 2 feet thick!

Appreciate it guys, I’ll pass it on to my wife! She’s a strong woman, but is quite nervous!

It’s not exactly the most exciting time to have to spend time in a hospital, is it? (That’s assuming, of course, she’ll be having the baby at a hospital.) My wife gave birth to our second back in May. It was eerily quiet at the hospital, a very strange experience.
