What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Been neglecting this lately:

I got this #53 Cuban stockman in the mail today as part of a Secret Santa exchange on another forum. I'd always been keen on this frame in the form of the Furtaker trappers but never got one. As a stockman it's really nice. The sheepsfoot blade barely protrudes when using the clip and it feels very comfy in hand overall. It's also the first GEC I've had with ebony covers and I like them a lot. A bit bigger overall than my Schrade 885 but with the generally sleeker profile I think it'll carry about the same in pocket.

Thanks Santa.

All this talk of sowbellies in another thread has convinced or enticed me to carry the sowbelly experiment today.

What a fantastic pattern! Lots of character and fine quality. I'm surprised more people haven't taken the Half-Whitt route....near sunk joints, single-spring, really imposing broad Wharncliffe. I've been extremely pleased with my Tidioute version in Pickle Green Bone.

Thank you, Will
