The Mighty Peanut was with me, today :)

Dang it Sit, you know how to make a guy envious! Hehe, you make that thing look so puny in your hand.
Is that one of the 440C's? You lucky dog :D

Back on topic, I have my Buck again. I have never used any other stockman, but I am liking the sheepsfoot placement on this Buck. I am so used to using my left, middle finger to open the sheepsfoot, it makes all of the other stockmen I see look goofy!

I am beginning to see that I am warming up to stainless a little, that doesn't mean I don't love my carbon though!!

Nice Peanut Andi :)

Thank you, Sir! I was a little concerned about the size of the knife - it´s really tiny. But after carrying it after some months in my rotation, I really love it. The size is just great for most daily tasks ;)

Wow to this!

That is looking absolutely beautiful with the patina:thumbup:
How are you liking the steel? I have been eyeballin' those for a while now...

I stuck the blade in a potato overnight when I first got it. I then put it in my Camper and forgot about it for months after using it to slice tritip. The blade looked pretty funky, so I used a sponge, scrubber side, to clean it up a bit. Worked great, as you can see. I really like the differential temper line, and love how it cuts meat. I think its a great buy, though I have not had occasion to sharpen it, so cant really say how the steel feels on a stone. I dont see how it could not be good though.. The whole package, including the sheath, is very nice quality. Thanks for the kind words.

still carrying this huge looking Peanut

Nice looking pattern that Mink Skinner, seldom seen too, so your pics are appreciated by me.

I think there was another acrylic on these too, Sea something or other?

Today the GEC stainless Conductor (stag) still holds sway.

Thanks, Will

That is the sea glass, my bad. The church glass is a little different. I'll have to edit the post.

Just threw this my pocket. After the Norton 4K waterstone the other day, the edge is quite impressive. The build quality and jigging of this knife are top notch. I hope to see that continue in the Case/Bose series.

I quite agree. The placement of the Buck blades just feels so much better to me.

double post. Again. razzle frattin rattin.

hey what is the lil' guy sitting closed on the pouch?

That is a Vic Director, it is the same as the Vic Executive, except it has stainless scales and is much thinner, no toothpick or tweezers. I lost one 25 years ago and a few months ago found a new one they are a discontinued model, but I found a distributor that has some new in stock.
