I've never been a huge fan of Opinels
I'll risk the stones and pitch forks too, Jack.
I'm not a big fan of Opinel's or Mam's and sent mine down the road... they were worth the price though. ;)

That Klaas goes well with your pocket-slip buddy
Thank you, Jack. :)

Those two just seem like they belong together... solid work knives with beauty. :cool::thumbsup:

That certainly makes it easier to figure out which one to grab and when to grab them. ;):thumbsup:
Now they need to come out with the Amazon Package Opener model... :D

Great picture of your Old Timers, they always hold a place in my heart. :cool::thumbsup:

Great work knife with some fancy clothes. :cool::thumbsup:

Wonderful stag on that #44, Harry. :cool::thumbsup:

I like both of your newbies, Taylor. :cool::thumbsup:

There you go again, making me want to get outdoors. :cool::thumbsup:

Nice pairing. :cool::thumbsup:

(but maybe the downward can't of the blade is a design feature).
I'm one that enjoys the downward cant on a blade... Maybe not as aesthetic, but very useful.

I don't do GECs, either, for that reason among others.
I prize the few GEC knives I have, but until they fix their market, I'm done with them too.

Both Barlow and slip look dignified to me, John!
Thank you very much, GT. :)

Wonderful picture. :cool::thumbsup:

I didn’t like glitter gold at first, but now the more I see it, the more I’m warming up to it. o_O
It grows on ya. :D
Nice souvenirs! :cool::)
Thanks! It's not so easy to find souvenir knives these days, especially in NYC. Chinatown is different in a lot of ways.
Clay's a good guy, and his Bucks are in good hands!! ;):thumbsup:
He is, and I'll do my best. :thumbsup:

Ha! Maybe with a small pruner/hawkbill blade.

Thanks, Jack. :)
I dig your dynamic duo! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

...

Thanks, Jack. :)
Couple of complementary carries for you! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thank you very much Gary, that was quite a post! :eek: :) :thumbsup:

Just a cheap Harbor freight 1×30 belt grinder, grinding a blade this thin I had to dunk it every few seconds to keep things cool.

Really nice work :thumbsup:

Two solid users my friend :) :thumbsup:

I'll risk the stones and pitch forks too, Jack.

Thank you, Jack. :)

It's good to have some company behind the sofa John! :D Great to see your sweet #66 :cool: :) :thumbsup:

Been wanting to ask you... What on earth IS that thing in the background, cross between ice skates and a stand up (razor type) skooter?

You got it my friend :)

It is a kicksled from Finland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kicksled

The traditional ones are made of wood.

Ours is the racing model made of aluminum called Kickspark.

This is how we do it.
Jack Black Jack Black called them Zimmer Skimmers :cool:

This is how the pros do it :eek: :thumbsup:

They are popular also as dog sleds.
I am afraid our dog would not be of much help ... except to ride in the basket :D
