The snow is retreating, spring is coming, and this knife brings with it the promise and hope of many adventures to come.

I know you're excited to see the snow melt, Dan, but I wonder, is it typical where you're at to expect another snowfall or two before it's all said and done? Ours is almost all melted here, as well, but I'm sure we'll get a bit more before it warms up for good. Our first winter in Minnesota, all the snow melted in early April... then a few days later we got almost two feet in about 36 hours. :D

Friday essentials! Cheers y’all

Good looking #85. It's been a while since I've had Quench gum! :D

I have to go to the mall for something this morning, so I think I will lay aside my usual carry, and bring my “Mall Ninja [Turtle]” gear:

Although, if “Rude Boys” carry them, why not “Rude Turtles”?

Nice TMNT knife! :D I was always partial to Donatello myself.

I haven't actually put it to work yet, but I've been totin' this one around the house the last couple days.

Looking better with age, Jack.:thumbsup:

Thanks John, I wish I was! :D

Have a great weekend, folks!

Super Saturday stag Gary :)

Thank you very kindly, Jack!!!

Your A. Wright fixed beauty is quite a cool stag partner for your Hartshead Barlow; outstanding pairing! :D:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you very much JJ :)

Can't go long without a Lambsfoot in my pocket, so the Charlie Lamb is joining the carries today.

It looks great John  :)

I like that Jack, thanks for sharing - I will use that phrase! Many of our colloquialisms have been educated away, on the other hand I embrace them and talk much the way my Grandparents and Great Grandparents did - now I'm getting old enough that kids don't often understand! OH

I am just the same Bruce, and I don't know about you, but as I get older, I care less and less whether the kids understand or not! :D ;)

I think the same has been true of Jack Black Jack Black and CelloDan CelloDan lately, Jeff! :D

...

Thanks for the compliments, Jack. :) The start of the pandemic DOES seem like a long time ago! :( Glad you got your first shot.:thumbsup: Fine pair you're toting today!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

LOL! :D Thanks pal :)

Looking good Barrett :)

It's been a while since Stuart @Duckdog last posted here I think. I hope he's doing OK. I thought I'd try calling him back with the John Primble English Jack he kindly gifted me. Pairing it with my regular Hartshead Barlow. Have a peaceful and relaxing Sunday folks :)

Yes Barret, I am afraid you are correct. I did get a little excited there a bit prematurely .Thank you for bringing me back to the real world buddy lol :p:D

We have a cold front approaching and by tomorrow morning is going to be -15 Celsius ( 5 F )

Victoria Day, a statutory holiday at the end of May is the "official" start of summer here.
That's when people go all out gardening, put the boats in the water, campgrounds open etc ( that's the long weekend I plant my snow peas r8shell r8shell :D )

Never realized Browning had offered a series of knives commemorating their shotguns - your Citori is a very nice looking lockback - a great knife to commemorate a great shotgun. OH

Thanks for the observation, OH. This one does faithfully honor the quality of the Citiri scatterguns.

Jack, that is so perfect in every way - great looking fixed blade. OH

She don't look back
She never stumbles, she's got no place to fall
