What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm carrying a Case Sodbuster jr. with yella handle and cv blade. I can get this knife so sharp the hair will jump off of your arm.

A new Case Serpentine Stockman 3 1/2" in CV with jigged chestnut bone and square bolsters - 63032

The color of the bone (I could take it plan!) and the jigging and its coloring
Good walk and talk, nice snap.
The nail nicks are deeper and longer
All the blades came with serious burrs, which came off quickly with extra fine diamond stone

Very reasonablely priced from eBay!

Over all well made
A classic

Happy to have it in my pocket!

Funny, I'm carrying the same knife today.*

Yesterday, I got a little impatient with the somewhat obtuse edge geometry on the soddie, so I set aside the Spyderco Sharpmaker and instead pulled out the old two-sided stone. Going freehand on the coarse side of the stone, I was able to thin out the edges a good bit. It takes a much keener edge now. Not scary sharp per se, but getting there.

* Alongside the ever-present 33OT Old Timer.

Just a lowly Böker Pen-knife with stainless blades and very nice Honeycomb jigged bone.

Fixes my evening fruit snack very nicely thank you, don't know it's in your pocket either. If it were the same size as the CASE Pen-knife ,that would be superb!

Today I'm carrying my Case red bone slimline trapper (CV blades, of course). It's a superb sandwich maker. The blade has developed a nice patina and the bone is starting to darken, in a few years it will be just perfect.

*drool* I wish I had a Cripple Creek *drool*

Finally cooled off this evening, I'm headed out to start my chain saws for the first time this year, and cut some wood, so I just had to grab my 1985 Remington Woodsman "moose" :)

I always post here because I always carry a traditional knife. But I am not sure this would be considered a traditional. My new GAK by Victorinox.

But I did also carry my new peanut. Case PW Red Bone. SWEET! So that will keep me legal here I hope. I need to get a picture of it. But here is Case's pic. It does not do this knife justice. Not even close.

This is my first post in this subforum, but I have been lurking here since late last summer. Ever since I started carrying a knife, it has been a locking one hand opener. But late last summer, when the leaves were starting to change and the smell of wood burning fires were in the air, i found jackknife's stories. Perfect timing. Reading all of his stories and seeing all of the pictures everyone posts of their traditional knives converted me over to traditional style knives.
Since then I have bought many, but none have replaced the first one that I bought, my Case texas jack in cv. It has been in my pocket every day since i bought it (although, sometimes it is not alone ;)).

This is an older picture, it has a little more wear and patina on it now. ;)

Here are the rest of them that sometimes get carried with the jack

Thanks again to everyone in this subforum for helping to convert me to the traditional side of things!

This one was waving at me when I walked passed the dresser this morning so I put it in me pocket

I had a brief moment of personal nostalgia carrying this one today - very brief! Wiped it down and put it away...

I'm carrying my Case Chestnut CV Trapperlock today.

First, becuase I'm planning on carrying only American made knives for the weekend in honor of the holiday, and second because its just starting to develop a bit of patina and I'm hoping to move that process along. :)
