The Summit looks good Duncan:thumbup:

Paul
Thank you Paul, I tell you what my friend, this knife has grown on me hugely!, Often i think it would be great to share a beer with you when I carry this knife - its a nice knife to sharpen as well!
This knife and I are going places together

Frank, that Moki is a stunner!

Gevonovich kind Sir-is that a Robeson?....its a lovely looking knife.

My understanding is that these are called, quite simply, "Tomato."

(As any of you with acrylic covers knows, they can look very different from one picture or angle to the next, depending on how the light catches 'em.)

This knife was another gift from a friend, in this instance Mr. Barlow himself, waynorth. I believe those are his initials on the shield...?

Very nice I looked all over for one of those in tomato after i saw a picture of one I think Boggs posted, ended up finding an ebony that I really like. I do like the looks of the tomato acrylic, seems to be my favorite of the acrylics.

Today two of my most-worn fellas are with me ... Case Medium Stockman (my only EDC for about nine months and used heavily) and the Mighty GEC #66 Serpentine Jack (my favorite knife in general - by far)

lol Robert
glad you finally get to play with it :)

Thanks, got 12 months to get well acquainted with her...my 2011 has made quite the transition looks wise, can't wait to see how this one comes along.

Can't believe how thin the tip of the wharncliffe is!!!

Everyone seems to have had a great Christmas :) Apologies for this lengthy post, but there's been a lot of treasure on here over the past couple of days :)

That looks like the perfect EDC knife, Jack!! I really, really like it.

Thanks my friend. That was my attempt at giving the Sheffield cutlery industry a kick up the backside. Eighteen months of blood, sweat, and banknotes. A story for another time...;)

Very classy Duane

Ken Erickson's "Improved" Muskrat, right out of the box...

Great shots of some great knives...I see that lovely Muskrat again of Elliots-Just Wow!
Im carrying my Summit today, just finished coating her with a CCVC ( Charlies Cider Vinegar Coating lol ) which has settled down a few of the old marks, and spent a bit of time on the Diamond stone- and the stropped away....Wow...scary sharp!

Thanks Jack. The munchen knife is a Hartkopff (sp?) that was gifted by Unkle Andi! A beautiful treasure! The Arno B. is a gift from my wife:)

For old time's sake, I've been using my Jack Black Knives U1 this morning...

 Nice! I keep coming back to look at this one...Well Done Jack!

Thanks Duane :)

That's my 5" U1 in Sheffield-made SF-77 steel with resin-bonded wood laminate scales cica 1993. I wish I had a few left to hand out.

I love this picture.

This knife was a surprise to me (I didn't choose it, nor even know it existed); the tomato is ridiculous. In a good way! It makes me laugh. The Teamster is also my first #66, and I'm amazed at how comfortable the handle is, abetted by the round bolsters. The Teamster etch is the first I'll be truly sorry to see go, if and when that happens.

Three of my favorite things - Knives, stag handles and dogs!

There's a winning trifecta for you, in pocketable form. :-)

Ooooh, an Arno Bernard. His level of finish (for lack of a better word) is incredible. Very nice gift!

LOL! :D That one was OK, if a little battle weary! Only 25 were made, most of them went to very satisfied customers, a few were gifted, and some of them, unfortunately, were stolen :(
