Got this...again.
I had something pretty cool happen today. I been toting this Andy Fannin awhile now, and it’s really neat but the thing (there is always a ‘thing’) that I wanted different was I wanted the stag darker. Was toying with the tea/coffee soak but heard the stag swells (not brave enough for that) and then read about the leather dye (hadn’t gotten around to ordering that and experimenting...life’s busy again) and a pair of amber stag scales from culpepper showed up in the mail I had ordered. They were still a bit damp with the dye so I rubbed my finger in it and on the scales and presto. Nice even dye job. Waited a bit and cleaned the knife...all good now. Wanted just a little age/darker look.
