This is a High Carbon (Sears, pre-Craftsman, made by Camillus) cattle knife, and a SW 294 Serpentine Jack.
What used to be the spey blade is not any more, much more akin to an awl. But it is extremely sharp. For some reason, it makes me think of r8shell .

Thanks John. I do like the pen blade also. If I’m not mistaken, it’s basically a shorter version of the pen they use on the copperhead isn’t it? This knife and that slip look like they were made for each other.

Still numb today but it's easing off so I'm going to stay home and re-rig our swamp cooler. It'll require some 1/4" cooling line from a hose faucet to the swamp cooler trimming and this Bull Nose should be adequate. Left over meatloaf for lunch.
