What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’d like to say thank you to JohnDF JohnDF for this exquisite leather slip that arrived a couple days ago. I took it out of town already, and now to Blade Show today.

I am the type that generally pairs a slip to a particular knife and I have one worthy, this GEC 66. Thank you again, John for this wonderful gift and for all your contributions to our Porch.

Schradurday it is... sweet blades there Jeff!!
Thanks, Gus. Every time I see a Puma, it reminds me of the Hunter’s Companion I saved up for and mail ordered back in the seventies. If I recall, it was something like $25, which was a lot for me then.
Around 1981, deer hunting way back in the Ozark woods behind Grandma’s house, I reached down and felt an empty sheath. Could not find it, so I hung the sheath on a tree so whoever found it would have the sheath.

Hope so, it’s done everything else well, and oh how I need luck when I’m fishing!😂
Going with my Case Dogleg Jack.
Hard to decide which is better, my #66 Jack or this Old Case, both are excellent.
Wouldn’t be nice for this to come out of the vault! 👍

Pretty cool weekend, our robins and house finches fledged, bluebirds have hatched out their second clutch (5) and we finally have a purple martin couple checking out our gourds. Fingers crossed. Felt like the 35 hummingbird was a no-brainer.

The robins have been voracious. Every time I’m in my garden, or especially turning a compost pile, they’re right there stealing my worms.

Definitely JJ :) Thank you for the kind words my friend, that's another excellent pair you're showing, I don't recall seeing the Barlow before - though I have the memory of a goldfish these days! :D Cool Scout too, and they pair nicely together :)
Thank you very kindly, Jack!!! You are correct as I just found that Barlow after several years; it was hiding in a case I had forgot about. o_O :)
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend :) Pairing my Hartshead Barlow with a wee Keen Kutter Peanut today :) Pie from yesterday! :D ;)
