What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Happy Saturday All !

My awesome Wife surprised me today with a gift for our 28th anniversary today with my first Boker Solingen, Barlow Castle Burg in 01 Steel.

"My wife may not get the knives, but she definitely gets me."

Carrying the classic DamLamb and the amazing 2019 forum knife. (I didn't win a single poll that year, but still love the knife.) Anticipation for our upcoming knife is at an all time high. It's gonna be SWEEEEET!

Happy Saturday, hope you all have a great day!

Beautiful knife... matched only by the surrounding countryside.

Have a good hike, Jack; those two will certainly make great companions.

Thank you very much, Jack!!!

As soon a I saw the images of your trusted beauties, I knew you were heading out afoot; have a great day in the outdoors, tomorrow! 😁:thumbsup:
Thanks a lot gents, had a nice day out :)
Time to start breaking this one in...
Nice patina John :)
From my hike this morning...
Hope you enjoyed your hike too buddy :)
Toting this old Kutmaster Scout and a Puma stag covered Hunter today. :)
Those two look fantastic JJ  :)

A couple of favorites.
The '08 is one of my favorite Case patterns, and the camo classic Gary gifted me is about my favorite classic next to my grandfathers.

The new pocket organizer brings changes to what I carry, so now it's back to a classic for my toothpick and scissors option.

Got 2.75 inches of rain Thursday night and 3.1 inches last night. My roof which had no leaks prior to this, leaked ☹️

The roof is of the age it needs to be replaced sometime in the next year, but it was holding up pretty good. Found out I lost part of a shingle and a couple of nails vibrated out and punched through. Better than 50% chance of thunderstorms everyday for the next week so it shouldn't take long to find out if I fixed it 🤞

Made mid-day change: needed something to pry with.

I should have taken a pic or two on the roof. I'm not the best on roofs and tend to become very mission focused. That and trying not to do something stupid, like fall off ;)

That blackie s&m rocks with the “all -iron” build!
Osage, I don’t have one, if you can believe it!!
Gawgeous pic for knaf-heads Greg o_O :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Gus. I agree, all iron against ebony is a nice combo.

Quite a nice pair, Greg!
Thanks, Jeff.
Osage and Ebony... my favorite woods. 🤠
I'm with you on that point, John. Although bloodwood, rosewood and a couple others rock as well.

Carried this yellow bone Moose & ebony Whittler today, (recycled pic).
Getting ready to light the charcoal for dinner so putting this Russell Green River Works fixed blade in arms reach. Only grilling hamburgers, but I'll manufacture some reason to use it. ;)
