Thanks! Based on the two RR Barlows I own I have to agree. Good F&F, smooth action, and built like a tank.Nice.I think the Barlows (the ones without shields, that is) are R.R.'s best offering.
I can't decide if I like the Traditional Yellow or the Sporty Red better... Lovely knife.
Classy picture of a beautiful half whittler Crazy Canuck!Happy Saturday everyone!

As some of you have seen today, this is fresh outa the tube. My first and at the moment, it’s all rainy and muggy up here so I’m hangin’ in-doors with it close by. This pic is from earlier in the day brightening up the present and I’ll tell ya’s, if you don’t have a 71….
GET ONE, or as many as you can!!
Wondering if the F&F also stands for Fit & Finish… it should!!

Yes, I use it in small rivers and creeks for trout, mostly camping in the sierras or on the ranch in Oregon. I haven’t fished any big rivers with it. I’ve caught some decent bass on it, but mostly smaller trout 12 inches or less. I have not caught a big fish in strong current with it. It’s a fun rod, just a little different keeping your line tight and landing a fish.Ah! Bless its heart! Sacto, forgive me if you’ve said this before, but do you use the Tenkara rod in streams or rivers?
Thank you, Rachel.
