What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

One knife, the Charlie Lamb, for "Black Friday"
One knife, the Case/Bose Norfolk, for Rachel's r8shell r8shell "Fancy Friday"

Yeah! 😄 Waiting for r8shell r8shell to start the official “Fancy Friday” thread. 👍
I don't think I can keep up with another thread these days! :oops:o_O Those are fine and fancy, for sure.

This is Saturday, right? Whatever:

This old example was relegated to the bike toolkit but liberated it today for the wknd pocket. Enjoying using it a couple times, about as much heft as I need in a user
Fantastic!
That's one on which you replaced the shield, right?

I had my eureka jack with me today. I had a chance to fish in the irrigation pond for a little while today. The conditions were not great, windy and weedy. Luckily I had able to haul in one lunker. 🤣

Ah! Bless its heart! Sacto, forgive me if you’ve said this before, but do you use the Tenkara rod in streams or rivers?

Thanks Rachel, I know what you mean!😄

This 124 SW serpentine jack gets the JohnDF JohnDF leather pocket slip today. 1E21BFE9-BFE5-46C8-AC55-8E78990619FF.jpeg
A 175, and a 136 hawkbill, because I intend to go out between the predicted and sorely needed rain showers to deadhead some perennials that are past their “Best By” date.

The hawkbill is, according to the old Schrade catalog, the one they marketed as a tradesman’s knife to be used stripping wire and cutting drywall and linoleum. They made another, the model # slips my mind, that they aimed at gardeners, florists, and ornamental horticulturalists~ Orny Horts, as my friends majoring in that at University of Illinois called themselves. The only difference is no shackle on the pruner. I can live with that ~ I kind of like the shackle for pulling it out of my pocket, as long as I remember to swing it clear before closing the knife.
Believe it or not, but the silky delrin on this thing feels better than wood or bone.

You all get out there and have a stupendous Saturday, and find something to cut.

Only one thing on the agenda today and that’s mowing the yard, and since my yard is the size of a postage stamp, I pretty much have the day off from chores. No surprise for my carry, I’m trying to pick up something different folks, but I’m just really enjoying watching the Jack patina. 😉👍331837BD-7FD0-45CD-BE51-33D6D16819C3.jpeg
