I'm sure there's been a few that have said that in my younger years.John’s near and basically at large.
Ya, they seem to have them pretty well handled now. There's a fire just North of you but it seems to be calming down last night and today.
Wow Gus, that really turned out nice! Love those covers, very cool jigging.Well, I for one am relieved that Ed has the homestead beefed up a couple of notches as John’s near and basically at large.
I have been waiting on this one for a while as I had asked Todd-bigfish64 for a wink of approval prior to biting on it.
My first of this Boker series in what I’m calling a liquorice red. This is a really well made piece for the scratch.
So… Thank you Todd! Even with those blurry pics we picked a good’un and win or lose tonite, I will still win most of this day!!
Just in time for the good ‘ole Hockey game….

Very cool Cory, you have a nice setup, very nice thread tensioners. What kind of rod are you building?Have my Winchester with me again as I try my hand at building a fishing rod for the first time.

Really cool stag on that 83! I had to do a double take. Any pics of the pile side?
That spot was actually some rangeland monitoring I was doing on a place where someone else runs their cows. I didn’t realize how close I was to the power plant until I turned around and saw the towers.I have a real good idea where you run your cows now.![]()

You can tell them to call off the alarm... I'm two hours West of you.![]()
We are on our yearly trip to McCloud, although we missed last year because of the pandemic.
But I'll tell you, the Cafe here in town does make a mean Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs... with hash browns of course.
Thanks for posting that! What a really unique knife you got. It's definitely a jewel! Thanks! I love it. The pile side…nothing special, other than it is perfectly thin like the mark side.

Very cool.
I was out there just a few days ago.If you’ve been to the landfill there in Roseville, you’ve probably seen my cattle.
Great picture.
I will haphazard a guess it’s for light tackle throwing jigs at something…? I need a calstar 8’ jig stick when your taking ordersHave my Winchester with me again as I try my hand at building a fishing rod for the first time.

Then I've seen your cattle. Small world! That spot was actually some rangeland monitoring I was doing on a place where someone else runs their cows. I didn’t realize how close I was to the power plant until I turned around and saw the towers.
Our cattle are in Lincoln/Roseville in the winter and Sloughhouse, Franklin, and southern Oregon in the summer. If you’ve been to the landfill there in Roseville, you’ve probably seen my cattle.
