  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’m pretty sure a photo of that tomahawk with the Schrade is in order;)
Here’s a couple pictures with the hawk. I used to spend a lot of time throwing it, and I have broken many handles. My dad used to order handles by the box and we’d throw knives and tomahawks every evening ‘til dark after he came home from work. I still have several old ones that we used to throw that I need to dig out, clean up, and restore to their former glory.

At the risk of telling you something you already know, you have a great Dad.

I was once in an antique store in TN about 18 years ago and was told by an employee that Jim Parker’s brother owned the store. There was a display case there with probably 200 NIB Parker knives in it. I bought six Jim Parker Preferred Stock Trappers for $100 and still have two of them. They’re etched with a raccoon, but it looks more like a lemur to me.😂

To be in solidarity with John JohnDF JohnDF JohnDF JohnDF while he's having to tote a Victorinox Cadet this week, I've taken my Red Alox Farmer out of it's box and placed it on my desk for a visual while he's gone.
Thank you my friend, I don't feel so lonely now. ;)
When ya coming back John? Oh, why are ya going John - just a vacation?
I'll be back in (hopefully) nine more days.
I am moving my son out to Omaha for grad school... driving all his stuff out there.
Nothing to do with John or Ed
Nice. 🤠
Practical pairing my friend
Thank you, Jack. :)
Nothing wrong with GOOD habits like you're displaying here!
Thank you, GT. :)

Upcoming for week 30, again with the Boker Barlow Expedition. After a couple weeks with the Alox Classic, it is a bit too small for my hands/ fingers and their dexterity. So, back to the red Alox Cadet on the keychain. Bark River Mini Kephart on standby for heavier cutting.
