Looks fantastic still. 🤠
I also treat my Old Case knives very well.
I chose one that I allow myself to abuse on a regular basis...

Last full day here. Our new boat takes the rough water so much better than our old deck boat. We covered 38 miles of the main channel, 15 miles of the Niangua arm, probably 8 or so miles of the Gravois arm, about 10 miles of the Glaize arm, and lots of other coves not marked with mile markers. The tip of my Jack points to where we stayed (except for the first night). We probably won’t venture out of the state park today because the REALLY big boats take over on the weekends and the water is just too rough for a boat our size. How far up the Big Niangua did you get?
If you went as far as Bridal Cave, you just passed our old lakehouse.
I used to take my fishing boat with 9 1/2 horse Johnson upstream past the hwy 54 bridge, past HaHaTonka, and on up to where it narrowed down and was a river.
HaHaTonka cove became home to the giant striped bass they’d intruduced, but I never caught one. When the first started stocking them, the DNR kept it a secret. Then we starred hearing stories of smashed and splintered fishing rods, wide eyes and shaking hands. They even had a splintered casting rod on the wall at Jacks Sporting Goods.
If you’ve never done it, next time you should go fishing below Bagnell Dam. The fishing there is unbelievable, but be prepared for snags. If you go at the right time, you can fill a five gal bucket with crappie. Or cast huge treble hooks with haevy weights to snag paddkefish.
Good times.
