I have never seen a blade tip protruding from a closed Laguiole.
And this is not the case for the 5 I currently have.

HA !!! ... steam coming off it makes it look lighter but still may not be as dark as some like
I use about 7 grams coffee to 10 ounces water. Some might use that amount of coffee to one cup water

My Beer Scout is my favorite knife, and it finds its way into my pocket at about 50% of the time I'd say.
Haven't been around here much recently, but my traditional knives still bring me joy every day.

I think he was talking about the other end of the blade

The picture is from a few days ago but I was little busy that day. Currently over in Eastern Europe doing Army things. So of course I have a Pioneer, close enough to a soldier right? I usually keep the knife looped around my belt and then slipped in my pocket, enough slack I can use the knife pretty easy for a quick cut. But it's easy to unloop it if I need it.
