I have never seen a blade tip protruding from a closed Laguiole.
And this is not the case for the 5 I currently have.

5KQ was speaking of Spanish made Lags I suppose... 😏

I don't think Gary was talking about the blade tip
I think he was talking about the other end of the blade
(still very overcast today from hurricane Ida)

The picture is from a few days ago but I was little busy that day. Currently over in Eastern Europe doing Army things. So of course I have a Pioneer, close enough to a soldier right? I usually keep the knife looped around my belt and then slipped in my pocket, enough slack I can use the knife pretty easy for a quick cut. But it's easy to unloop it if I need it.
