What was your first Kershaw knife?

Long time ago, it was a stainless steel pocket modle 5000, then a Black Horse, then recently it was a Black Out, Leek. And it keeps on keepin' on.

Fairly recent to the Kershaw line.
My first was the Ener-G II (large) with the pocket-tearing inserts.
my second was the Skyline. Loving it.
My third is the prod. S30V G-10 Leek. Very nice and grippy, very light, though I think a thicker lock would have been nice.

Expecting more to come ;)

The JYD II. I got a grey handled one for fathers day. I liked it so much...I now have a black handled one and a black handled composite. I think they are great knives. I'm starting to consider more Kershaws at this time such as the Spec Bump and the ZT 0200. My son turned me on to these great knives!

G20

Just a plain ole' Scallion that I found in a pawn shop on the Cape. From then on Kershaw's (about 90% of the time they seem more available) and Spydies have been my only production knives.....being hooked on customs limits production knives though.....:D :p

A Needs Work the start of the addiction I have been feeding quite often since. Who knew Kershaw knives were more addicting than Heroin?

I think it was a Coral Creek, then a DWO.That was back in the late 1980's.I also picked up a bone handle Rotary lock in China town in NYC.
The 1st Post Onion Kershaw folder was a Random Task.(I say post Onion because I believe Kershaw became a better company when they made the move to get Ken and the other knife designers.)

A Leek CB was my first Kershaw and it started something... Now I need more Leeks and more Kershaws, they are just outstanding knives.

My first Kershaw was the G10/S30V Leek. Got rid of it because I did not like the liner lock much. Now I am hunting down lots of frame lock Kershaws which I love.

First one was a Skyline that came in the mail today. It will not be my last, I know that.

You know, since you're in Chatt town, you can run to Sportsman's Warehouse
and fondle a lot of Kershaws. I do it all the time. ;)
Take lots of money.

I stop there ever so often to check out some knives. Their prices are hmmm, well better then MSRP. That's all I have nice to say about that. They do have a fairly nice selection. When I first was looking for "that knife", all I wanted was some type of BM, but am now looking at other brands as well and for the price, the Kershaws are hard to beat.

Are you local? I'm actually in Ringgold GA, but more people know where Chattanooga is instead.

Nope, he's REALLY from Chattanooga. It's true. I know this because SV is so cheap that I have to send him all of my Blade magazines when I'm done reading them from all the way out here in California because he won't spend a few bucks to buy 'em brand new.

Sorry Dave:D

Mine was a medium sized Liner Action that I had traded a friend an old Buck Crosslock for, about 15 years ago. Still have that knife somewhere.

Regards,
3G

Start sending him like every other page, or even better, like every other paragraph of an article in there, and then charge him for the rest. :D ;) :p J/K
