What would be your Apocalypse/End of the World knife?

I haven't given it much thought honestly, but the thread title made me think about the Ontario Chimera:

All I know is it would be a handful of these. Maybe more than a handful. The 3 I would always take with me would probably be one of the slimline machetes/brush swords, one of the Survive GSO 5.1's, and one of my Gollik knives Elmax knives. And a Carothers light chopper would be close by for sure!

whatever you can grab before you get eviscerated...as CM said, whatever you have on you. If it were to happen now, there's a ka-Bar EK-5 and a BK10 strapped to my backpack, along with several folders, an Izula and an Enzo necker. Given time to rummage thru the pile, I'll probably go with a Junglas, or a Zombie Tools Scyllis, or... you get the idea. Whatever you can grab.

And ALWAYS carry Myke Hawke!!

Yes, stabman, a perfect tool for that would be a 'wrecker' like this - which can be picked up at any local hardware store usually:

I Would put a 2lb ball peen hammer head on a 4ft hickory staff / walking stick.

see I told you, it's appropriate for an apocalypse & bug out bag imho... sort of like a combination war hammer, prybar, and general skeleton key for any pesky doors, 8 and a half pounds of steel can't go wrong :)

hudson bay knife.

I think anything more tactical would not look good with the reduced tone color scheme. Along it goes the apocalyptic backpack and apocalyptic smoking pipe.
What, pray tell , is that thingy stoppering your pipe ?
