A reasonable 4-5" fixed blade with a keen edge and a pointy yet substantial tip would make the most amount of sense.
However, threads like this aren't about making sense![]()
What, pray tell , is that thingy stoppering your pipe ?![]()
Hahahahha i see a dig for a patricular memberThanks to the other "knife for the end of the world" or whatever it's called thread, I now know that whatever knife I choose has to be super duper black, have a hollow handle to store ex-lax, sleep/suicide pills, etc., be made of 440a stainless so it vibrates at the right frequency when batoning with rocks, and be at least 11 inches because 10 inches stops the knife from being water proof.
I don't currently have a knife that fits all of those criteria but I am diligently searching through a Budk catalog and I am very confident I will find the right one before any zombies show up.

You are holding back! You have more than those! Lmao. Glad my machete made the cut!!All I know is it would be a handful of these. Maybe more than a handful. The 3 I would always take with me would probably be one of the slimline machetes/brush swords, one of the Survive GSO 5.1's, and one of my Gollik knives Elmax knives. And a Carothers light chopper would be close by for sure!

For me probably a kukri for a heavy chopper. I have a gavko knives bigfoot in S7 that works great.
A machete for lighter chopping tasks and reach, likely my ETT model in 3V, or like the one i made for ATJ999 (slimline machete in 3V full convex)
And probably my apex hunter model in Vanax or Z-Wear. Probably vanax though because its an apocalyptic setting and why not.
Or my conquest model, same steels. Super comfy handle and great smaller blade. 3.5 inch or so blade.

Awesome man keep me posted!HAHA! I know, but I did not want to look like a complete crazy person! I would definitely have the 3V machete/brush sword on me! You know, I have done some side-by-side testing with my machete/brush swords against choppers. The Machete/brush swords actually cut deeper and arm gets less fatigued. I still love choppers though.
I am still thinking about it, but I may contact you about a small, 4.25 inch blade Z-Finit fixed blade.
