What would you like to see us make next?

another vote for recurves, hollow grinds, satin finishes and THE TABOO!

And Ken, another thing I'd like...and I'm shocked and amazed that no one else has asked this...Invite me over to the islands for a 2 week working vacation with you!

Mahalo!

...vote early, and vote often!

This is more for Thomas and the guys at Kershaw...how about black shallot, except with G10 on the non-clip side. Keep it as a frame-lock, with a blasted or polished blade (of SG2? S30V?).

And Ken, invite me and I'll bring the pūpū platters! ;)

The taboo looks awesome--something sorta like a Blur and a Spec-bump combined.
Ken, make us a tactical taboo please--studlocked--Textured OD or Black G-10 scales, angled thumbstuds, black S30V (or higher grade) steel, and 4 positional pocket clip and make sure it has speedsafe.
The angled thumbstud lock would be so awesome--it would have to be one angle for your thumb when opening it, and the another angled part exactly opposite of it when you close the knife as well.

This would be a winner!

And Ken, this is probably asking too much, but could maybe just maybe, could the design that you pick have like a "co-designer" ?? :D
Sorry just had to ask :p

Maybe we could have some sort of design contest where everyone comes up with their own sketches/drawings and we vote on a winner, that would be interesting.

I would like to see some models of the Leek manufactured with trac-tec inserts. Don't know the feasibility or cost it would afford to the model, but more grip is a good thing in my opionion.

Ok ,so let me make sure I got it right . You want 2 big Macs a Chimp, one pair jumper cables, six riding crops, a CD of "Zanfir and his amazing pan flute", three midgets named Biff and a happy ending? Oh and a large day glow mesh thong preferably leopard print with pink trim? How am I doing so far?

Is that all you guys got??? I'll have it to ya early next week.

Really ,you guys are on a roll! Don't stop!!

Do I have to do a Bali??

What is it with the flat ground thing? Hollow ground folders traditionally sells better. I like a good flat grind as much as the next guy however the cutting edge does have a tendancy to get thicker as the blade wears.

Whats with the basic simple folder ? There a dime a dozen. Everybody does simple, simple is to easy. Give me a challenge.

Why don't some of you like recurve? If it's a sharpening issue, thats a pretty simple fix.

I love the natural handle scale direction. I've been reduced to begging myself. They can be somewhat of a pain in the ass though due to the expansion and retraction issues of natural materials and the humidity or lack there of . It causes the handles to expand or warp and can be troublesome.

A recurve balisong with a hollow ground blade and stag handles. Is that challenging enough?

I suggested this on the KO forum: A KO swing guard. Dyed stag Handles, a sweet little recurve blade, something curvy on the guard and a button lock for all the DIY auto junkies out there. Classy, relatively simple, and packed with potential.

Aloha Ken,
First, thank you for spoiling us with so many great knives. It's very difficult (at least for me) to find a Ken Onion design I don't like. And I do love recurves, BTW :)
That's why I'd like to propose you a small utility kerambit with a recurved blade, maybe something like this one:

Hey Ken.

Here's a challenge for you. Remember the Gerber Touche belt buckle knives ??

I had two of them. Made the mistake of wearing one into Canada. Wore it for 2 weeks and on the way out some dips--t customs guy thought it needed to be confiscated. This was before 2001 when you could take a knife on board a plane.

Make me something like that. I loved them. Very nice collectors knives w/ several different versions.

+1 on the Mojito variations. Excellent ergos. Love the built-in safety - I think its the best feature and would love to see in in other offerings.
