What would you like to see us make next?

i know i suggested it. but +1 again for the mojito variations. the built in safety is the most unobtrusive system of its type i have ever used and there is really nothing about this knife that i can find that is a drawback. well nothing except a lack of variations in size and style and materials :)

The taboo looks awesome--something sorta like a Blur and a Spec-bump combined.
Ken, make us a tactical taboo please--studlocked--Textured OD or Black G-10 scales, angled thumbstuds, black S30V (or higher grade) steel, and 4 positional pocket clip and make sure it has speedsafe.
The angled thumbstud lock would be so awesome--it would have to be one angle for your thumb when opening it, and the another angled part exactly opposite of it when you close the knife as well.

This would be a winner!

And Ken, this is probably asking too much, but could maybe just maybe, could the design that you pick have like a "co-designer" ?? :D
Sorry just had to ask :p

Well, since SPX is pushing it..... ^^!!!!!
A tactical Taboo! :D

Would that be a Tactaboo? ;)

+1 on anything with a stud lock.

As long as we are reiterating things, bigger Mini Mojito, at least as big as the Mini-Cyclone. Gotta have the stud lock and flipper safety!

How about a Tabooical?

And for the Mini Mojito on steroids, I'd like to see it about the same size as the speed bump.

ROFL!
How about "Tactibooical" :D
It would be awesome! Ken, I think we have your next design ;)

After all, it would be so tactibooical :p

A gentleman's fixed blade in an oval cross section sheath with a clip on it. Not a knife disguised as a fountain pen but about the same overall length closed. To be primarily used as for office tasks, but strong enough to use as a steak knife or to cut boxes. STURDY.

A Taboo Framelock with 3D machined contouring akin to the ZT0300 line would be awesome, and well worth the price.

I agree that the recurve blade is beautiful, but not that useful. For example this extreme recurve you have here is gorgeous and flows perfect with the knife handle, and it's a stunning knife, but this is a collector's piece, not a working knife.

If you are trying for a collector's piece production knife, well, you've met your goal, but otherwise I wouldn't want a recurve in the style of your custom stuff. But that is because I prefer knives that aren't going to be locked away in a safe. And that's certainly not a diss against collectors, that's just my personal preference.

I'd really like a low drop-point blade similar to this SOG Twitch XL in a Kershaw knife, but with your creativity on the rest of the design. As to what that would be...well that's why you're Ken Onion and I'm not!

By the way, this Bump is one of the most amazing knives I've ever seen. I think it's literally perfect. You know how they say the hardest part of painting is knowing when to stop? I think you stepped back from the canvas at exactly the right time. I would love to see that handle shape/texture on a production knife.

Also, I'd love to see more of the D2 tool steel fusion thing you have going on a version of the Leek. It's beautiful, and I've got one shipping to me right now.

Tabootycall???:DThats funny!!

Taboojito, studlock ,flipper safety,3D machined, Tactical flavored, ambi clip, composite blade ..... That would be spendy but awesome!

So now we gotta convince Kershaw to do the Taboo/ Taboojito guys. How many of you want to see it with a drop point style blade(sans recurve) and how many of you want it with the existing blade? Of course you all know I love a recurve . Seems alot of you don't.

Flat or hollow ground? Why?

I think "Wrinkle" would be a great choice for those of you that don't like recurve . I'm carrying one now and it cuts like a dream.

I think a featherweight ,skeletonized Badass EDC mid sized Mojito would be really cool. Or a different design with studlock and flipper safety.

Keep rockin guys ! I have these pages posted on my work bench and will use them to reference when I go into design mode next. great stuff!!

FLAT GROUND PLEASE!!!!

I cut a lot of cable jacketing and hollow grinds are not so great for that...

"I think a featherweight ,skeletonized Badass EDC mid sized Mojito would be really cool. Or a different design with studlock and flipper safety."

Yes please.

Ken,
A tactical wrinkle with framelock and 3D shaped G10 handles surely becomes a winner .
Otherwise some tactical smaller sized knife like the taboo would be nice too.
Can't you convince Kershaw to make a offset with 3D shaped G10 handle into OD green or coyote brown ?

PLEASE use a recurve blade!

What's the point of making a Kershaw Taboo if it doesn't look like YOUR Taboo Ken? I've been asking for one for two years; please don't compromise. A Hollow-Ground recurve is the knife a true Taboo-lover wants. If you want a flat-ground knife with a staight blade, get a ZDP Leek. :)

YES! Thank you for listening to the best idea ever!
I dunno about a composite, I like the DLC coated S30V blade.--RECURVE PLEASE!
Make it look like a Spec Bump, with the angled Blur thumbstuds, with a stud lock. Please make sure it has the ZT style clips, with Tip-up/down, right and left hand carry.

Black 3D machined G-10, just like the Spec Bump.

Also try to make sure everything says matte black, including the stud-lock.

Oh, and make the blade 3 3/4 inches--make this one B.A. knife!

Ok, I'm done drooling over our design :D

Ken:
I really love the Dead Sexy/ Shallot style knives. I would like to see variations of this knife.
Some different handles, Keep the blade 3.5 " and keep the finger chol. A damascus or a composit blade or just plain old S30v. Keep the blade grind the same it works well. Actually a little more recurve on he blade would be a cool change, but keep it slim like the origional design.
A blade like the Aqua http://www.kenonionknives.com/images/25072.jpg
Or this one: http://www.kenonionknives.com/images/25118.jpg
Speed Safe and a flipper of course.

Heres a link for those who havent seen your custom

I love all the COLORS you use in your knives btw, hint hint.

Thanks Ken, love your designs, you're an artist as well as a knife maker.
