Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Looks like my New Year's resolution is broken "BEFORE" St. Patrick's Day instead of Easter this year!

Saving Grace...

I can never beat Mrs. Oro at her "Game of Shoes" though. ;)

She will get the "Iron Throne" at any and all costs! :p

I'm expecting two as of now. Both trappers. One is a new Case Mini Trapper in Bermuda Green bone. The other is an older USA made Schrade Old Timer 94OT (not the pictured one but same kind). I kinda have a soft spot for the US made Old Timers as my first pocket knife was one. The trapper pattern has grown on me and I wanted to get one in that style.

This is bad... I hadn't ordered a knife in a long time, and now I've got 2 of them on their way to me. I can't let myself fall down this rabbit hole again, but I've been waiting a long time for Case to put Ebony covers on the Peanut.

If I ever get my hands on a Tiny Trapper with a wharncliffe secondary, both knives will be going to Glennbad for some surgery.

Oh my oh my... an ebony peanut!
I've got a cocobolo peanut, but an ebony would be a very nice addition.

The 3" half congress is pretty neat, and very useful.
It will be my first Congress. I was sold on the 3" size and (half congress) single spring. Should be a great office carry.

They carry well and the blade combination is superbly useful. If I were in office work it would easily be one of my top choices.

I've been terrible so far this year. I think I've purchased more knives thus far, than I did all of last year.

Arriving today are two new Case mini trappers. I've wanted the yellow Delrin cap lifter model for quite some time, as something a bit less precious than my Beer Scout Knives. The wharncliffe mini trapper in bone stag was a total impulse purchase. I fell in love with it on sight.

I also have a couple of Camillus scouts coming later this week from auction. One is an old army engineer knife with carbon steel bolsters and liners. The other is what looks to be a parts knife made from Camilus auction materials, with resin impregnated rosewood (read Dymondwood) covers. It should be a fine user.
