With all of the SFO news with GEC I decided to pony up for a Maher & Grosh Yankee Whittler. I’ve always admired them, but never felt the pressure to try one out until it seems like there may not be anymore; and I can’t afford secondary prices. I think I got the last one in their stock in cocobolo. I’m excited to see how this three blade feels! I’m not a big fan of multiple blades, but I love the 78 pattern, and I like both clips and spears!

Ordered this yesterday Jul-2. These knives were originally manufactured in my home state of Tennessee. Eventually sold out to Case. Somewhere along the way SMKW obtained the rights to the Colonel Coon trade name and contracted Queen to produce for them. This is a Queen example.

I probably shouldn't have, but I did it anyway.
I just ordered a (BTI) Old Timer 23OT 4 blade "Scout" knife with saw cut Delrin covers.
(1) It might be a little less of an pocket anchor than a "Demo" knife. (Not a big concern. My 30 inch wallet chain lanyard weighs more than the Demo knife, anyway.)
(2) The covers will match when I carry it with my 858OT or 858OTB or 280OT, and 25OT 2 blade slipjoint folding hunter.

A Boker Solingen Damascus Stockman! I haven't seen these available anywhere but direct from Boker yet (there is also a Razor Jack available) and the pricing was definitely right so I wasn't going pass it up.

I ordered a GEC 38 special in bocote. I liked the 12 quite a bit, so I thought I'd see if the 38 feels as good in hand. The blades are slightly different, so that might be an issue. I really like the shape of the blade on the 12, so I'm hoping for the best... great price on it, about the price of a new Case knife... so how far wrong could I go? Pics when it arrives...
