What'll be your first knife purchase of 2005?

You got one heckuha' knife Johnny. Those Doziers are built to last a man a lifetime! Post a pic if you can as I haven't seen a 3.5" version but that is one I could really get into!!

Maybe I need to add this one???? :D :D :D

I have ordered a limited Edition Benchmade 705.

I plan to order a Regula Small Sebenza as soon as i get the money to (hopefully within the next month!! :-)) then i will be set for a while!!

Well, I've bought 3 so far this year.

1 Spyderco Scorpius PE
2 Spyderco Calypso Jr's (Grey FRN)

I may buy a Benchmade Min-Griptillian if I like it. I'm really thankful that boxer93 is sending me one of his to check out. Thanks boxer93! :D

I had laid off knives a bit but I admit I picked up a few more than I planned in the last month or so. I recently got a Kershw Nakamura that really impressed me and I love my Spyderco Kopa and Benchmade 707 Preproduction. I am gonna get a Mini Skirmish when they come out and I will probably get another small Sebenza sometime this year.

I've already bought a few this year. My next choice will probably be the Camillus Cuda Maxx 7 or the Lone Wolf Harsey Tactical. I haven't tried a Cuda Maxx yet, but the Lone Wolf felt good in my hand and seems to be well made.

So far this year, a BM630 Skirmish, a Busse NO-e and a SR Camp Tramp. Not sure what else is on the "must have" list - maybe a couple more fixed blades.

Last December, I ordered the knife on this site as a Christmas present to myself as I knew that nobody else would even think of giving me one. Since it was delivered in January and billed to me during that month, I figure that it will count as a 2005 purchase. It is a reproduction of an 1830s Bowie knife in the collection of Joseph Musso, a well known Bowie knife collector and historian. I have wanted such an old-style Bowie ever since seeing "The Iron Mistress" when I was about 10 years old, and this one fits the bill superbly. It is made by Generation 2 in the Philippines and is very well finished, especially for the price.

So far this year - BM Mini-ambush & Pika, Ka-Bar Dozier Folding Hunter (thumhole) & Drop Point, Spyderco Delica. I had a BM Mini-Grip and Buck Northshore on order but they got seized  Will probably get either a BM Mini-Grip (locally this time) or Griptillian, or something in the Spyderco line, depending..... Will probably end up at Target Knives for the BM, but there's always something that catches your eye there...... :) If and when Knife Center gets the Mini-Grip and Northshore back, I'm probably going to exchange for a Buck 55 and Spyderco Centofante III.

So far I have purchased two Gray FRN Calypso Jr's. My next purchase will be either a Spyderco Kopa or Kiwi. These small Spydercos are very addictive. I can defiantly say I have been bitten by the Spyder.

Masters of Defense Large tactical folder. I didn't like it because it was much heavier then expected and had a much thicker handle then wanted. Purchased a Microtech Mini Socom Elite with a plain edge, satin blade. Tomorrow it arrives.

Those small Spydercos are addicting and very nice. I have bought the Dragonfly, Delica and Endura this year. I have my eye on a few more, but will probably save up to buy a big knife for my next toy.
