Just finished up the first in my batch of knives I've been working on. Hopefully I can knock out a couple of more this weekend. I really enjoy making these small fixed blades much more than making larger knives. I think I'm going to start figuring out how to make folders. Maybe a friction folder first and then a slip joint.
Anyway here are a few pics of this one. I must say this is my favorite knife I've made so far. O1, micarta and G10. 5.75" OAL.

Now for the daunting task of etching my name on this one. I just got my etcher and my stencils and I've been practicing but the results have been inconsistent to say the least and I'm afraid of screwing this knife up with a bad etch.
My latest tool addition. This is a late 50's Craftsman 150. Was a bit rough when I got it, but not too bad. I love bringing these old things back to life.

I don't if you have been on garagejournal.com but there is a hardcore following that restores these cm drill presses. All kinds of impeccable attention to detail there, along with some less that great restos.
Same here, never knew a disc was so important until I saw what they did. I plan to get mine up and running ASAP. Nice jobI spent a bit of time with Tim Hancock, Mike Quesenberry and Jeremy Hewitt this past weekend. I didn't realize how important the disc was. They straightened me out.
Finished this up today.

Thanks buddy,
It was nice meeting you.
Likewise, which wheel did you go with? I wish I would've had more cash, I would've got one at the farm
