Looks like fun! I've got to start gluing up my non metal bolsters to my scales so I can glue and pin in one operation instead of gluing and pinning the bolster separate from the liners and the scales. I think I'll use my granite surface back.

Rick, very cool looking handle wrap! Is that linen or leather or what? Is there anything under the wrap?

It is a hemp wrap over a maple core. I usually cement thick leather scales but this one is under compression to support the guard assembly. The whole thing is soaked in marine epoxy.

Some good looking knives guys!

Here is one I just finished up, I was not happy with the wood on the handle the first time and as much as it pained me I smashed it off and started over. This stabilized spalted Hackberry turned out great I love it.

Isn't the Blade Show coming up sometime soon? Better get a move on! (These are not all I have, there's a decent showing squirrelled away ready to pack and take.)

Some forged 80CrV2 blades ready for their handles to be impregnated with marine epoxy.

Mid-tech knives in 3/16" 80CrV2 ready to heat treat.

And hardened, about to close the kiln and start their first tempering cycle.

There will be representatives of 6 of the 9 mid-tech designs I'm working on. Wish I could have them all, but it just doesn't work out logistically.

Well, no pictures as always but I love to be involved from start to finish. I completed a liner locking folder with a 3 1/2" blade of mosaic Damascus from Rod Calcinore in PA. It is heat coloured in blue and a bit of maroon. The bolsters front and rear are meteorite and are heat coloured as well. In between is some outstanding black lip pearl The back bar I made from Damascus and has a "cable like "look. The back bar also has three rubies inset and one also in the thumb stud.
I do like this one and it is giving me a big return of satisfaction.

It has taken me some time to even get back into the shop and get something finished, but here is probably the last knife of this type that I finished tonight.

I'm just really glad this is done and turned out, I've lost sleep on this one...

Brian , that is a good looking 100% working knife.
Gee, Nathan, get used to not having it by going home time.
