Gonna wail on that some...
Another nice knife Nathan.
Questions for you. I know you are a logic driven person so is there a purpose behind the lanyard hole being so close to the ricasso? Is that to wrap the lanyard around your hand and keep the knife from flying loose and sticking some innocent sap in the chest? And what made you go with such a large choil? I've always thought of larger choils to be for aesthetics. Not nit picking, I think the knife looks great. Just curious.

My new KA75 power hammer arrived, and I'm waiting for the car i just sold to get picked up so I can move my roadster out of the middle of the garage and make room for me to install the KA75 and the new compressor which will be delivered in a week or two.
Sad that I had to sell my rally car, but I needed the space, and I'm not selling the roadster.

Thanks JG. It was supposed to be a little knife but after I screwed the grind and the heat treat up it quickly became a letter opener. It's for my wife and I. But you're right. It has a helluva point on it. Basically, a very pointy pretty prison shank
It's useable anyway! NiceLast of this Santoku batch. It's not saying a lot, but it's the best of the bunch I think. Slight misalignment in the handle and blade longitudinally. Not too bad.
You ever notice the better you get at sanding the more flaws you see?
