. Clean looking kitchen cutters👍

Bohler K460 aka O1 steel surface grinded to 3,00mm.

Working now on P600 satin for all 3.
And thinking what wood put on them.

Zebrano, Padouk, Palisander, Brown Mahogany, Olive ?

Got some shoptime again.
I love working on fine details

Fine double fluting on a 6mm bronze bolster. Handsanded the fluting to 2500 and the front and side to 400 for contrast.
(hand sanding the deeps takes a lot of patience)

Just in the final stages on this bushcraft piece. The wood and leather all still needs a final polish and the blade needs an edge.
Almost there:

Here are two I finished up recently. Let me know what you think!

Persian tanto with carbon fiber scales inlayed with resin over toxic green g10 liners.

6.5" harpoon-tip bowie with 5A koa over black g10 liners.

Stark, I will tell you what I think. I think your harpoon tipped bowie is great...nice proportions and nice grind. I ground my first harpoon tipped knives this week but I like yours better. The longer blade and the jimping makes it look right. Larry

Hello All, I'm a hobbyist making knives (too). Last week I just finished kitchen set for my mother in law. The first time I used my new sandblaster box so there are small imperfections. Ak5Mo (1.4116) for fillet knife, N690 for fork and N695 for chef knife. There are local plum wood and stainless steel guards on handles. Take a look:

Thanks for watching.

Very attractive set. Its got that simple elegance going for it!

I finally finished up this piece. I also took a few shots in a new, makeshift light box just for a try and I'm having focus issues it seems(the camera, not me).

Oak Bushcrafter
7" 1084 with Fc and bleach etched finish, rounded choil and spine.
Peened tang, figured Oak, epoxied jute, copper pins and tubes, with a ferro rod and striker.

Let me know what you think,

-Peter

on a side note: I'm gonna owe Rick Marchand sooooo much $$$$.

Nicholson with copper pins and warwood. Never tried a file knife before, but a friend gave me a box of 25 spent Nicholsons from his work. Decided to give it a whirl.

Just finishing up a few knives for a friend's groomsmen's gifts.

That looks fantastic, Peter. the peened tang spine is a nice touch.... and the cord wrap... you owe me $5.
