I agree with Josh Rider, those are sweet. Murray Carter's pattern has always been one of my all time favorite designs. Sooo comfy in the hand. Are those silver liners on the green micarta? They look super nice!

This is a special piece, the best of the best materials I have and probably some of the cleanest grinds I've ever done. I LOVE the look of copper, but I don't think I hate using any other material as much as I do copper.

Just finished this today.. first knife doing my own heat treat on. 3/16, O1 steel. 8 in overall 4 1/4 blade.

Cleaned up the shop. Got rid of an old cabinet that was blocking this window. Then I installed a third workbench that was a built in desk I took out of my home office. Natural lighting is awesome.

Second one almost finished. Just need to give it a final polishing and a sharp edge. Did some improvements to the handle on this one after receiving some helpful advice on the first one I did a few days ago. Not a very good pic but I plan on getting some good ones when I have it finished. :)

Had a booth at our local rodeo this past weekend. Made up some knives and sheaths as well as other leather gear:

Rick - I really like your cord wrapped handles. Seems I just saw another knife made by you recently that had it. I don't typically like that but yours has a mojo to it.

Thanks
Mike

Very very nice Rick. Love the color combinations. Good looking sheath as well.

Just got a batch of curly spalted maple, and feather walnut from the stabilizer. This one was one of my favorites. Heavy spalting and dyed blue. I can't wait to use it.

My hand wound coils look pretty even.no major cold spots. I just stuck some bricks in front to give it a test run. Even with the gaps it hit 1200°F in under 15 minutes.

looks like they do a fantastic job too. I can pay $.50/ hour for shop cleaning. And all the goldfish crackers and apple juice they can handle.

Gotta watch those sharp corners on the shoulders, TS. Even a tiny rad is better than none.

You bet man, I may have made it to small but I used a small round needle file in there when setting everything. I'm drawing it all back as well. I'll give it a test run before offering it for sale to anyone.
Thanks for looking out for sure.
